Can Paladin bubbles or iceblock cheese portions of this?     Particularly in regards to a paladin tank bubbling to avoid/remove the tank debuffs but also possibly the charge victim iceblocking or bubbling solo?

Not 100% sure on this. Will double check and give an answer.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but it seems you could boil down the optimal tank strategy to "taunt when Ursoc uses Overwhelm or Rend Flesh." You don't even need to look at your debuff if the rotation Ursoc uses is correct in this guide. The only downside to boiling it down that way is one of the tanks will take a few extra melee hits with 2 stacks of Overwhelm.

You're probably right. I'm super tired for having to take over these guides at the last minute due to some issues with our writer. I'll go through that part again tomorrow once I'm rested :P

Looks like this has now been updated by Damien. Thanks again for pointing it out!

Can confirm bubbles work on the bleed at least. Was able to solo tank long enough for the other tank to be b-res'd several times.

Hello guys, this boss is not just hard for tanks. Healers must be really good to keep the raid members alive. BTW our tanks, they move before the boss start casting Miasma. This is my guild killed on Heroic. I hope it will help you.

Hi there,

Is there any place on this website where people share how they use their spells and change their talents to best adapt to a given boss?

I remember there was such a thing on SoO, and it would avoid 50 wipes to find a pro-tip that others had already discovered the hard way.

Thanks!

You can always ask on the class forums for more boss-specific advice - players there can give you a hand :)

Blizzard posted a a list of known Patch 8.1 issues that will be fixed in future hotfixes.
Every patch comes with a bunch of undocumented changes and/or bugs and here is a list of known issues that went live with Tides of Vengeance yesterday:
      Blizzard (Source)
The war raging across Azeroth between Alliance and Horde has intensified. As the Alliance lays plans to retake Darkshore and regain a foothold in Kalimdor, both factions have redoubled their attacks across the zones of Kul Tiras and Zandalar.
For those just returning or who otherwise need to be caught up we have guides for both new and returning players.

With any update, it is important to make sure that if you use addons that they have been updated. It may be a good idea to reset your UI to default to make sure that the old files aren’t causing any issues.

Stormsong Valley: Muka Stormbreaker is not available when the quest “Horde of Heroes” is complete. “Essence of the Iron Vanquisher” does not have a turn-in Mythic Keystone Dungeons
Reaping: Bwonsamdi does not cast a summon visual trigger when he travels to a save location. Reaping: Bwonsamdi does not offer the prompt spell when the timer ends via player deaths. Reaping: Souls inherit health and damage modifiers. Islands
Players are reporting lag / frame rate drops in Dread Chain near Azerite Extractors. Classes
Mage - Brain Storm ’s Arcane Charge Energize does not proc Rule of Threes. Player versus Player
While players are not in War Mode, the tooltip still says it can only be turned off in the faction capital. PvP Talent - The Abomination summoned from Raise Abomination will become stuck trying to go between targets that are just outside the 10 yard summoning area and the summoning origin. PvP Talent - Wind Waker will put a spell visual on the Monk when an ally triggers it. Voice Chat
Exiting the client while in a party/group will result in the voice chat icon in the party chat channel to disappear and joining another voice chat channel will result in an error.

Blizzard updated the folder strucure in Tides of Vengeance and it seems that retail is going to share assets with PTR versions of the game resulting in less download for future updates.
The default installation for World of Warcraft is: C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft Before Patch 8.1, the folder contained familiar subfolders, such as "Interface" where you place your addons or "Screenshots" with all your screenshots. Starting with Patch 8.1, the "Data" folder is now shared between all versions of the game which now have specific subfolders tied to them. _retail_ - contains cache and addons for the live version of the game. _ptr_ - will contain info for the most recent PTR version of the game. If you're using Twitch app to automatically update your addons, you will need to locate the new folder to update them. Before 8.1, addons had the following default installation folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons In Tides of Vengeance, the location changes so keep that in mind if you're updating your addons manually:
      C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\Addons

Here come the inaugural hotfixes of Tides of Vengeance! We have the Spirit Mend fix for BM Hunters that was previously tweeted, a big nerf for Synaptic Spark Capacitor Azerite Trait and a whole lot more trait nerfs in PvP. We also get some profession tweaks, with cooking being the focus, stamina food in particular.
      December 11 (source)
      Classes
Hunter Beast Mastery Fixed a bug with Spirit Mend that caused it to heal for less than intended. Dungeons and Raids
Uldir Zul, Reborn Zul's health has been reduced by 5% on Mythic difficulty. Developers’ note: Tides of Vengeance removed the Subtlety Rogue passive Shuriken Combo, which was a core part of many guilds’ strategy on this fight. We’re reducing Zul’s health to avoid the update increasing the difficulty of the fight for guilds that were relying on Shuriken Combo. Items
Heart of Azeroth Synaptic Spark Capacitor damage decreased 32%. Professions
Fixed a bug that allowed some Battle For Azeroth crafted gear to be worn by player characters who no longer had the crafting skill to create it. Cooking Battle for Azeroth flasks and feasts now increase the primary stat for tanks (was Stamina). Cooks can now learn and serve new Stamina foods. Player versus Player
Rogue Snake Eyes (Azerite Trait) is reduced by 30% when engaged in combat with enemy players. Shaman Pack Spirit (Azerite Trait) is reduced by 80% when engaged in combat with enemy players (was a 50% reduction). The following Azerite Traits are reduced to 50% effectiveness when engaged in combat with enemy players: Death Knight - Magus of the Dead Demon Hunter - Revel in Pain Druid - Masterful Instincts , Arcanic Pulsar , Lively Spirit Hunter - Dire Consequences , Surging Shots Mage - Arcane Pummeling , Flash Freeze , Blaster Master , Wildfire Monk - Glory of the Dawn Paladin - Avenger's Might , Light's Decree , Righteous Conviction Priest - Whispers of the Damned Rogue - Nothing Personal Shaman - Lava Shock Warlock - Dreadful Calling , Baleful Invocation Warrior - Intimidating Presence , Crushing Assault , Bastion of Might Quests
Fixed a bug where enemies required for “Black Moon Rising ” weren’t providing quest credit when killed. Patch 8.1 notes.
