Black Temple action in the final clip in the series covering major events in Illidan's past has just been added.

The latest entry in the series of clips that take you through Illidan's life has been added to the live game and Wowhead have already put it up. These clips are unlocked as you go through the main storyline and interact with Light's Heart, the glowing Naaru in your class hall. Apparently this is also the final step in that quest line, as players on the beta were able to find out.

You probably shouldn't watch it if you haven't arrived at the latest part yet, but hey here it is anyway:

Just to note, this is different from the three Harbinger cinematics you can unlock through tomes found in dungeons. Also, in case you just want to check out the entire questline and clips, here's that video as well:

I mean in BC we had some degree of justification for going after Illidan ie he was hurting our bros on the other side of the dark portal. However, this entire xpac is making me feel guilty for murdering him a few hundred times to get his weapons. I don't want to run BT anymore :(

Is it just me or is there more than just a passive similarity between Illidan and Anakin?

I was expecting the flashbacks to shed a light on his relationship with Malfurion and Tyrande, as well the Illidari and the whole deal with the Skull of Gul'dan.

But man, the guy sure suffered. He should change his name to Illidamn the Unlucky.

I must say I loved the last part with the raid taking him on, it was almost too accurate. The one guy jumping sideways, the rogue with one of the Warglaives hoping for the other one, and the AFK dude ("I think Johnny is AFK..."). This scene broke the drama of the flashback a bit, but it was way too funny.

Funny.  First thing I did with my Demon Hunter once she was 100 was start running BT for the glaives  :D

Was definitely amusing seeing people get one of the glaives on their first kill on a DH :p
