wow The Secrets Are Back - Hippogryff Mount Found!

The secret hunters strike again, as the Reins of the Long-Forgotten Hippogryph find a home.

As you might know, the rare world quest mount-dropping Kosumoth that spawned the other day was initially only found because the group was looking for ways to get the  Reins of the Long-Forgotten HippogryphReins of the Long-Forgotten Hippogryph and stumbled on him and the jellyfish Fathom DwellerFathom Dweller mount by accident. Well, not being satisfied with one big secret and mount they pushed on to find more clues and today someone has found the way.

This one isn't quite as crazy complicated as the General-Vezax-looking fellow, but it'll be just as hard to get one for yourself. In Azsuna there are five Ephemeral Crystals that spawn and "all" you have to do is find and click on them within 8 hours without dying. At that point there is a zone-wide emote  "You hear a faint caw in the distance and then silence…" and, obviously, the crystals despawn when the first player clicks all 5 and gets the mount.

Reddit user Cortyn found the first two crystals, based off of the lengthy Wowhead comments section theories, and told the hippogryff-seeking discord group about it, who promptly came to his server to help in the search. Eventually they found 5, but it was player Rawberry that clicked the 5th one, getting the world first, and despite Cortyn having made the initial discovery, he wasn't too mad he missed out on the mount.

Here's the original post about it, but it's in German, as well as the reddit thread, and there's a map of all discovered spawn locations so far (check Wowhead for the hoverable location markers). But before you go off looking for them, you should know no one is sure how the crystals exactly spawn - whether it's just a really long timer or if it's triggered by something.

Personally I am loving this Legion streak of secrets, it really gives WoW that "world" feel again as exploration is becoming part of the game again in a big way.

I know that these will eventually just become like the Voidtalon mount, but for now, I love these mount hunts.

Well, it seems announcements for killvideos are a thing nowadays! After Exorsus' World 2nd, Method have let slip the date and time of the very first airing of their World First Mythic Kil'jaeden kill video. Now, we've all been able to see the fight up until around 40% courtesy of the Alpha stream, but that final 40ish percent seems brutal and will definitely be worth a watch (or several).
In any case, you can check it out it starting from 8PM CET over on Method's twitch channel. Meanwhile you can read the interview they recently did covering the whole of ToS progression.

I have compiled the Warcraft story into 240 events nested into 29 statements nested into 4 summaries, all of which can be toggled individually.

This is a work in progress still, and certain details are outdated due to the WoW: Chronicle retcon, but it still gives a very solid ground-up understanding of the Warcraft story and most of its fundamental aspects.

Update: Added nerdscreams video and killshot.
And the second kill is finally here! Exorsus have defeated Kil'jaeden 7 days, 5 and a half hours after Method's World First kill and fended off the Chinese guilds that were pressuring their silver medal spot. After 962 wipes this will come as a huge relief for the Russian guild, as they've also had wipes as low as 0.2% in the last couple of days and been pretty frustrated with some of the issues on the fight. Guild GM Alveona even promised a big post about the whole issue after the race is done, so we have that to look forward to!
Now it's down to Alpha and Style War to fight over the final top 3 spot, if one of the other 25 guilds on Kil'jaeden don't pull an upset and get there first! We also have Method's kill video to look forward to, which should arrive either after the 3rd kill or when one of the streaming guilds gets close to a kill. And there's Method's  big interview coming today where we'll find out more specifics of the fights!

Lightforged Golem is one of 7.3 mounts that deserves a separate preview. It has unique animations and it's quite probable that it will be related to Antorus, the Burning Throne raid as a reward for completing Glory of the Argus Raider.
Below are screenshots of the mount including the /mountspecial animation.

Patch 7.3 adds two new factions to the game. The first one's called Argussian Reach and you can add up to 7 mounts to your collection. Most of the reputation is gained from World Quests.
Toraan the Revered is the faction's quartermaster and sells a tabard at Exalted.

Argussian Reach Emissary - World Quests Cache Argussian Reach Emissary Artifact Power - Cache AP Reward Argussian Reach Mounts
The new faction offers 7 talbuk mounts. All of them are unlocked at Revered.
Maddened Chaosrunner is the only mount that has a somewhat "unique appearance". The other talbuks are just recolors.
