Finally we can change our sometimes terrible nicks. No more StarymlovesBuffy for this guy!

Blizzard also supplied us with a FAQ on the service, most importantly that your current friends won't need to change anything, you'll just appear as the new nick.

Blizzard LogoBlizzard

Looking to change up how you identify yourself in the Blizzard online community? The BattleTag® you originally chose doesn’t have to be your nickname for all eternity—sometimes you want to switch to something more suited to the hero (or villain) you’ve become since you first arrived in the Blizzard universe.

While we’ve always provided players with one free BattleTag change per account, now we’re pleased to offer an additional paid BattleTag change service for those of you who would appreciate the opportunity to choose yet another new moniker.

FREE FIRST CHANGE

If you’re ready for something new and haven’t already used your free BattleTag change, simply visit your Account Management Dashboard, and click the Change link under your Account Details to the right of your current tag.

If you haven’t used your free change yet, don’t worry—BattleTag changes don’t expire and yours will be waiting for you if and when you ever decide to use it.

If you’ve already used your first free change and still feel like a new nickname would be a better fit, the option to purchase an additional change will be available within Account Management. Changes are available for $10 each, and your new moniker will be reflected on your friends list automatically after making the change.

For more details on the feature, check out our support article or visit the Shop page.

PAID BATTLETAG CHANGE FAQ

If I want to change my BattleTag, does it have to be something unique?

BattleTags do not need to be unique. You can use any name you want, as long as it follows our Naming Policy. Each BattleTag is assigned a numeric ID to create a unique identifier (for example, FallenSlayer#3592).

Will changing my BattleTag affect my friends list?

Your friends will now automatically see you listed under your new BattleTag, but otherwise your friends list will not be affected by this change.

Will new accounts still get a free name change upon creation?

Yes. All new Battle.net accounts will continue to receive one free BattleTag change upon creation.

You'd think this would have been in place a lot sooner but it's good that they finally added this. $10 does seems a little much but that's Blizzard for you.

It's about time... I don't plan on using it ever, but I'm not surprised they finally did this. Especially with games like Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm where there is a competitive scene that uses it (unlike WoW where it's character name based)

Having to pay to change your Battletag is already a huge slap on the face in the first place; it should be free, but with a gimmick like being able to change every 6 months or something.

With a company like Blizzard that has such ruthless race/server etc. change prices in WoW, I'm honestly surprised this doesn't cost more.

We're getting some clarifications on the way in which players can and will be able to earn Vicious Saddles in BfA!
      Vicious Saddle (source)
Hey guys! This is something we've seen y'all ask about and just wanted to share some insight to the Vicious Saddle mounts.
Currently, players can earn Vicious Saddles through the “Veteran of the Alliance” or “Veteran of the Horde” series of per-character achievements. We’re also working on some new ways players can earn Vicious Saddles in the next major content update, Tides of Vengeance.
Note that the Battle for Azeroth seasonal mounts will not be added to the saddle vendor until sometime after the conclusion of the final Battle for Azeroth PvP season. Until then, the only way to earn these mounts will be to actively participate in the associated PvP season.

      Who We Are
Tequila Sundown is a mythic raid team formed within the <Karma Horde> guild on US-Stormreaver. Lead by a husband/wife team with high-level raiding experience dating back to WotLK, we're a "positively determined" progression team that maintains a light-hearted atmosphere while tackling mythic difficulty content. We're mature adults with jobs and family seeking like-minded players who have a passion for the game but want to avoid the needless angst or drama that often gets associated with progression raiding. We log on to have fun - so come have some fun with us!

      A Team Within a Community
Our raid team is one of three within the larger guild of <Karma Horde>, which was formed back during WotLK. As such, the guild and Discord are very active and social. There are always people around online and in-game. The community atmosphere is welcoming and friendly to players of all levels. The guild enforces a Code of Conduct that has zero tolerance for hate/offensive speech.
We are always looking to add players with a friendly personality and lots of passion for the game. We want players who are going to log in on non-raid nights and be down for all the other things we're into: pushing mythic+, doing world quests, PVP shenanigans, achievement hunting, hyper-competitive fishing.. there's so much to do and so many ways to enjoy the game. This is our favorite hobby and we'd like to play with you if it is yours, too.

      Progression Goals
      6/8H, 8/8N Uldir.
We strive for a fun environment that takes the challenges of mythic seriously and giving the content the respect it deserves. Our aim is, as all mythic teams, full clear of content but with always keeping the friendly spirit of camaraderie alive. Performance matters, but so does staying positive and finding the fun in the difficulty of a raid. We do not require mythic raid experience to join our team but we do expect mythic-level dedication and accountability from all of our raiders. You must be able to take constructive criticism and have ownership over your level of play, and be willing to put in the effort to be a contribution to the team.

      Raid Days/Times
      Our mandatory raids are:
      Tuesdays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Thursdays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Optional:
      Sundays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
Sundays are for farming the previous raid difficulty.

      Recruitment Needs
DPS: Wait-list. Players who are truly interested should fill out an application and join the guild as a community member until a raid spot opens up.
      Interested? Next steps:
Please check out our team's wiki on the <Karma Horde> subreddit.
Read the Guild Code of Conduct
Complete and submit a New Raider Application
      Join the guild's Discord server
Add the Raid Leaders on bnet:  joat#1832 & lambkill#1856
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Rextroy is back with another video after soloing MOTHER on Normal difficulty. This time around, it took him 0.5 seconds to defeat Vectis. It's no longer possible to execute this, because the bug (or clever use of gameplay mechanics?) has been hotfixed.
A buff that was supposed to reset after entering Uldir allowed him to one-shot Vectis with a single attack.

Blizzard clarified that Brewfest trinkets should have item level 335 and they're working on a fix to bring them to the correct item level.
Brewfest started today and trinkets from Coren Direbrew have been adjusted to level 120 and item level 289. It turns out this was not intended and the actual item level of Brewfest trinkets is supposed to be 335. A hotfix will be deployed to live realms soon to address the issue.
Check out our Brewfest guide for more details!

Hey guys! We're working on a fix at the moment to bring these items to the correct ilvl, which should be ilvl 335 at 120. This fix should also be retroactive, so if you got any of them already no worries ?

Brewfest is here and we have no updates this year, only Coren Direbrew's trinkets have been adjusted for level 120.
The event's Brewmaster achievement is required for What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been, so it must be completed if you're working on your Reins of the Violet Proto-Drake mount. Trinkets have been updated to ilvl 289 this year. Don't forget to queue up for Coren Direbrew every day for a chance to receive loot, mounts, and check out our Brewfest guide for more details!

Do you love eating delicious faire food, drinking bountiful beverages, and riding rams around barrels of apples? Brewfest has arrived and you can do all that and more during this holiday.
      When: September 20–October 6
      Where: Outside Ironforge and Orgrimmar
Coren Direbrew is up to his usual tricks within Blackrock Depths, but characters levels 20-120 can put a stop to his brawling ways by hopping into the Group Finder (I). There just might be a Swift Brewfest Ram or Great Brewfest Kodo in your future!
What do you get when you have everything? Use your Brewfest Prize Tokens to purchase some of the festive Brewfest items including: the Throwing Sausage, Gravil Goldbraid's Famous Sausage Hat, and Synthebrew Goggles XL.
The competing brewers from across Azeroth have made sure to bring along some great brews for you to sample, each with a cosmetic effect:
T’Chali Voodoo Brewery – Spirit Spirits
      Gordok – Gordok Bock
      Thunderbrew – Storming Saison
      Drohn’s Distillery – Mannoroth’s Blood Red Ale
      Barleybrew – Shimmer Stout
