Havoc DPS Stats

Did the Havoc spec changed the priority stats?

Last week i was around 200-205k DPS, going down to 184-188k DPS with 846 ILVL. 40% crit.

Suddenly, this week i cant go further 160K DPS... my fellow DH DPS its lower crit than me, same build. The only difference i can see its the mastery stats, which he has higher.

The hotfix changed the stats priority for us?

I ran my character through sim today and it came out 4.5 crit, 3.9 vers, 3.88 haste, 2.98 mastery, That's going to be vary based on your gear slightly but the general rule of Crit>Vers>Haste>Mastery still applies.

Locky, tonight ill be getting my log so maybe you can help me to check what im doing wrong. So long, i have a question. Meta should be used at the beggining of the fight right? Should be a good idea to just meta and jump to my target? Or should i used FR toward my target (aka boss) and then use meta?

During the rotation i tend to used VR and next FR to come back to my target. Is this a mistake? Should i use VR, then a range hability like TG or EB? Then come back to my target?

thnx in advance for your help

Yes, I can.

Yes, it should. I Meta leap to the boss, FR through him, start opener.

Yes, it is a mistake. You're wasting momentum uptime but overwriting it like that. You should be pointing yourself in such a way that when you VR you will land where you are still in ranged of attacking the boss. Currently in EN, there is no boss where this is not possible.

Never clip momentum.

This does make me curious though, because Ask Mr. Robot now has the Havoc stat weights as CS>Vers>Mast>Hast. It keeps telling me to replace an 840 CS/Mast with an 850 Vers/Mast

Ask Mr. Robot is currently wrong, this is why I initially ran my character through simulationcraft to determine the correct stat weights for him.

I'm with you, I feel it's wrong too, but just trying to do my due diligence and ran a Simcraft on my DH for stat scaling (I made an incorrect statement and just chopped it off, my Simcraft was out of date and is reflecting properly now, thanks!)

The bane of every sim users life - forgetting to update.

It's not my video, but it's a Mythic Elerethe kill from Havoc PoV. Might help.

Thnx a lot... But yesterday i checked a lot of info and seems i could did it better. Need more practice. More videos, mode sims... i am sure we can be a really strong dps class, just takes a little time. Or maybe blizzard change the momentum mechanic, bc another problem its moving too much during battles, and so far EN has a lot of it... maybe some more static and competitive build... im not sure... i like momentum, but right now its too risky...

I believe there is a more static build, but I don't think it's exactly competitive when compared with the momentum build.

For sure. Hopefully it will get buffed to become more competitive in the future.

Hi all, new here and just returning to WoW. I haven't played hardcore since vanilla so a lot of this info is new to me and some I don't fully understand.
I've been back for about 3 weeks. My iLvl is around 930 (the items listed may not be 100% updated as I am working on enchants and such as we speak but this gets you pretty close to where I'm at!), but I am continually Fury starved. I JUST ran my first clear of Antorus tonight, got zero set pieces and have ran LFR twice and also received zero set pieces.
I am sure my logs are trash (don't even know how to get them and actually apply the knowledge though). So is my DPS (imo anyhow). But not much I can do when I have such a hard time with Fury. I posted on the Blizz forums and got some responses telling me to get set pieces and such but short of that I think my haste is a horrible issue (11.5%). I just got the leggie ring for completing Antorus and it's a significant upgrade to one of my current rings. But since I am at 40% crit, 11.5% Haste and 38% mastery, should I socket that ring with Haste and maybe even enchant it with haste rather than crit? I know crit is the heaviest weighted stat for us (I also have a 200 agi gem in my chest which I didn't know what to get at the time so I could also switch that agi out to a 200 haste gem, so I would end up with 200 haste from chest, 400 haste from ring) but I am trying to find a happy medium to generate Fury more consistently and still crit for my Chaos Strike.
At this point, I really don't know what to do to improve it, other than get more/better gear. Another issue with that is, just coming back I am rusty and without good gear I'm not gonna be able to get a regular guild that can run this stuff. So, it's kind of a chicken vs the egg issue. Are there any ideas/suggestions you guys can share with me?
Any info is much appreciated. Thanks and take care all!

My priority skills: rampage > BT > RB > FS
      So rotation like this: BC - BloodBath - ramp - odyn's fury - BT - RB - ramp - BT - RB - RB - fs .... BC - ramp - etc
also I user free excute procs ofcourse.

Simcraft show me that my best DPS must be near 1 860 000. But in fact my dps near 1.4M (maximum).
As you can see "good player" do much better dps then I with same iLvL.

      What I doning wrong?

      Hi everyone,
I, like many others, are trying to maximize DPS for their respective classes, mine in particular being ret paladin.
In general, it seems like there are several sources of information for dps for each class.
Icy Veins Mr Robot Raidbots (Simulation Craft) Warcraft Logs Each with its own set of criteria as to what determines high dps. And I find inconsistency when bouncing between the different sources. I want to understand what am I missing when it comes to each. I will lay out what I currently understand, and would like some feedback as to what I may not be considering in each as well as some advice as to what other options I could be exploring (resources) to further the insight into whats applicable for my current state.
      Icy Veins
For Icy Veins, in particular, the stat weights, are mostly vaguely determined. From the ret guide:

If I am reading this right, its Mastery >= Haste > Ver >= Crit = Str
      Mr Robot
I use the addOn and I subscribe for the Best In Bags function. When I plug in my information in, the site recommends that I go with my 2pce t20 and balance around my legendaries with a focus on haste pieces (haste gems are emphasized).
      https://www.askmrrobot.com/wow/simulator/report/a42136294c7f40b2b7ee78023306d786
Stat weights as listed in MrRobot:
      MrRobot Stat Weights
From what I am seeing, Crit is most emphasized, and the one crit gem + ring crit enchants were originally recommended by MrRobot here. Also another notable thing here is haste being way behind crit's potential.
      RaidBots (Simc)
For RaidBots, I use the addOn, and play around with various items I hoard, and use the stat weights functions. Generally the feedback I get here are to stick with the current gem setup and with regards to stat weights, emphasize at my current setup with crit. It also says I should drop some of my high ilvl pieces (935 head, and 960 chest) for 4pce (915 head, lfr 890 chest)
      Gear simc:
      https://www.raidbots.com/simbot/report/d3Qbkf6nqpoP4bxQ9YB2m
      Stat Weights:
      https://www.raidbots.com/simbot/report/6NkVYwEaTW26FxD4wBwey4
      Vers -> crit -> mastery -> haste -> str
      (versitality first?)
      Warcraft Logs
I mostly use Warcraft Logs to check what the top dps players (ret pallys) are hitting and what setups are they running. I don't want to specifically link player armories in here, but upon some investigation, you'll find most are just stacking haste
      ---
I understand stat weights are relative, however it seems like everyone has different priorities, one says mastery, another vers, another crit, another haste?
      Help me understand.
      Thanks,
      Exploit

I feel like I should be performing better as a frost mage at my specific level. If some of you don't mind taking a look at my logs and letting me know what I could do to improve, it would help me out a lot.
A lot of people have told me once i get bracers and shard that my dps will normalize for my ilvl. Is this true? I follow the standard for frost mage st rotation: dont eat Ice-lance procs, don't waste insta flurries, spend flurries by frostbolt>flurry>Ice-lance, etc. If I am missing something, please let me know.
Here are some logs to look at.
