Death from above

Recommended Posts

I see the lvl 100 talent for assassination rogue is venom rush....is it ever viable to use death from above to improve our aoe....since it would cost only 3 energy per bleed target.  Just wondering if anyone else has tried with success...i do fine in dungeons...but havent raided with the talent?

Short answer is no. DfA is really quite bad for Sin.

Looking for more responses and why its not good...not just  its bad....like some real statistics or logs

You won't find any real logs because nobody runs it. The talent doesn't do enough damage to be viable; the extra Energy from bleed ticks is much more valuable in all situations, because you always want to have Bleeds and Poisons on as many targets as possible

Honestly just try it or sim it and see for yourself, you will be very energy starved and the damage is quite lackluster overall even more so in ST situations.
