Varian Wrynn, the High King of Alliance will go live on November 15. He's the first multi-class Hero and we've got an overview of his talents and abilities.

Main Abilities

Lion's Fang (Q)
 - Mana: 60
 - Cooldown: 8 seconds
 - Create a shockwave that travels in a straight line, dealing 156 damage (+4% per level) and slowing enemies by 30% for 1.5 seconds.
Parry (W)
 - Mana: 15
 - Charge Cooldown: 10 seconds
 - Charges: 2
 - Parry all incoming Basic Attacks for 0.75 seconds, reducing their damage by 100%.
Charge (E)
 - Mana: 50
 - Cooldown: 16 seconds
 - Charge to the target enemy, dealing 52 damage (+4% per level) and slowing them down by 75% for 0.75 seconds
Heroic Strike (Trait)
 - Cooldown: 18 seconds
 - Every 18 seconds, your next Basic Attack deals 129 bonus damage (+4% per level). Basic Attacks reduce this cooldown by 2 seconds.

Talents

Level 1
- Lion's Maw
 - Quests: Every time Lion's Fang hits a Hero, increase its damage by 4 up to 120.
 - Reward: After hitting 30 Heroes, the slow is increased to 40% and its duration is increased to 2 seconds.
- Overpower
 - When you Parry a Heros' Basic Attack, Heroic Strike's cooldown is refreshed. Can only occur once per cast.
- High King's Quest
 - Quest: Hit 50 Heroes with Basic Attacks.
 - Quest: Participate in 5 Hero Takedowns.
 - Quest: Gather 20 Regeneration Globes.
 - Reward: When you complete a Quest, gain 10 Attack Damage. When you complete all 3 Quests, gain an additional 30 Attack Damage.
 

Level 4
- Shield Wall
 - Parry now makes you Protected, preventing all incoming damage for the duration
- Warbringer
 - Charge no stuns the target for 0.75 seconds instead of slowing them, and its cooldown is reduced by 8 seconds
 

Level 7
- Live by the Sword
 - Increase the duration of Parry by 33%. If you block at least 2 Hero Basic Attacks with a single Parry, its cooldown is reduced by 3 seconds.
- Second Wind
 - Basic Attacks heal you for 1% of your maximum health. While below 50% Health, they also heal you for 50% of the damage dealt.
- Victory Rush
 - Every 60 seconds, your next Basic Attack will heal you for 417 Health (+4% per level). When a nearby enemy minion dies, the cooldown is reduced by 15 seconds.
 

Level 10
 - Taunt
  - Mana: 40
  - Cooldown: 25 seconds
  - Force the target Hero to attack you for 1.25 seconds
  - Passive: Maximum Health increased by 50%.
  - Attack Speed reduced by 25%.
- Colossus Smash
  - Mana: 40
 - Cooldown: 20 seconds
 - Smash a target enemy, dealing 194 damage (+4% per level) and making Vulnerable for 3 seconds.
 - Passive: Attack Damage increased by 75%.
 - Passive: Maximum Health reduced by 10%.
- Twin Blades of Fury
 - Basic Attacks reduce Heroic Strike's cooldown by 9 seconds, and increase your Movement Speed by 30% for 2 seconds.
 - Passive: Attack Speed increased by 100%
 - Passive: Attack Damage reduced by 25%.
 

Level 13
 - Banner of Stormwind
  - Cooldown: 45 seconds
  - Activate to place a Banner that grants 25% increased Movement Speed to nearby allied Heroes. Lasts 12 seconds.
- Banner of Ironforge
 - Cooldown: 45 seconds
  - Activate to place a Banner that grants Resistant to nearby allied Heroes, reducing damage taken by 25%. Lasts 12 seconds.
- Banner of Dalaran
 - Cooldown: 45 seconds.
 - Activate to place a Banner that grants 20% increased Ability Power to nearby allied Heroes. Lasts 12 seconds.
 

Level 16
- Juggernaut
 - Charge deals bonus damage to Heroes equal to 5% of their maximum Health
- Mortal Strike
 - Heroes hit by Heroic Strike receive 40% reduced healing for 4 seconds.
- Shattering Throw
 - Activate to throw a sword. Deals 52 damage (+4% per level) to the target, and up to 1457 (+4% per level) damage to their Shields.
 - Passive: Your Basic Attacksd eal up to 200% bonus damage to Shields.
 

Level 20
- Vigilance
 - Being hit by a Hero Basic Attack reduced the cooldown of Taunt by 1 second.
- Master at Arms
 - Colossus Smash damages all enemies near your target and its cooldown is reduced by 10 seconds.
- Frenzy
 - Twin Blades of Fury increases your Attack Speed by an additional 15%, and Basic Attacks increase your Movement Speed by an additional 10%.
- Glory of the Alliance
 - Allied Heroes near your Banner also receive 50% increased healing and its cooldown is reduced by 20 seconds.
- Demoralizing Shout
 - Cooldown: 25 seconds
 - Activate to demoralize nearby enemy Heroes, reducing damage they deal by 25% for 5 seconds.

I find a bit odd that he will use Mana instead of Rage since he is from the Warrior-class (though Muradin is a Warrior too and also uses Mana), but still... He is probably one of the Heroes I'm most hyped about. I'm glad he'll be released in a few weeks.

I wonder if this was to give him a reason to go back to base, same for Muradin. With Rage as their resource and both having healing mechanics, they could sit in lane eternally.

Maybe this is their way of "balancing" them?

Makes sense... I was going to mention that Sonya has Rage and can heal, but her healing is nowhere as good as Muradin's.

Yeah, I did think about her, but she only heals when actually hitting something. They can passively heal if I remember right.

      Mastery Rings are a new feature that was added to the game in the latest balance update. They are the successor to legacy Mastery Skins that existed back then. When you reach level 15 and 25 with a certain Hero, you will be able to purchase these augmented rings for 5,000 Gold each.

      We’re adding a new feature to Heroes of the Storm that will allow you to charge into battle with an extra bit of flair: introducing Mastery Rings!
      Reaching level 15 with a hero you own will unlock the ability to use gold to purchase a Mastery Ring for that hero, which will be displayed in game as an extra adornment of your hero’s regular selection circle. Additionally, when you reach level 25 with that hero you can then purchase an even more distinct Mastery Ring with gold.
      FAQ
      Q: Can I get Mastery Rings for more than one hero?
      A: You can get Mastery Rings for as many heroes as you like, given than you’ve reached at least level 15 with those heroes.
      Q: Do I purchase these rings for each Hero separately?
      A: Yes. These rings signify experience playing individual heroes and let other players know that you know how to play your chosen hero, so Mastery Rings are hero-specific.
      Q: When will Mastery Rings become available?
      A: Mastery Rings are live now!

      The in-game Collection has been updated with new Heroes available for purchase at a reduced Gem cost.
      The Scarlet Heist Event dynamic bundles are still up for sale, but there are no other skins available for purchase with Shards.

      The latest balance patch comes with new augmented Hero Rings, purchasable for 5,000 gold each, which are equivalent to the old Mastery Skins, Hero updates, and more.

      General
      After completing the Scarlet Heist Questline, a set of 3 new dailies will become available. To show off your individual Heroes mastery, Blizzard has implemented augmented Hero Rings for any Hero over the levels of 15 (Level 1) and 25 (Level 2) which can be purchased for 5,000 gold each. Hero Changes
      Diablo's base health has been increased and the Mana cost of Apocalypse has been reduced. Artanis' Purifier Beam speed has been increased. Some of Rexxar's talents (Easy Prey, Flare, Hunter-Gatherer) have been nerfed. Varian's Twin Blades have been nerfed and his Taunt has been buffed to incentivize Varian players to try tanking for their teams more often. Ana has been slightly buffed and they removed the awkwardness of the way Vampiric Rounds asked players to constantly target swap after 5 Shrike stacks. Deckard Cain's potions now display their impact location before they land and the radius of Fortitude of the Faithful has increased. Li Li's Hindering Winds and Surging Winds talents swapped positions. Lt. Morales has a new Medi-Drone talent which gives her limited multi-target healing. Malfurion's Entangling Roots & Innervate have been buffed. Whitemane has some new baseline mechanics. Clemency and Inquisition now remove 1 stack of Desperation, Zeal can be activated to increase Spell Power by 25% and reduce Armor by 25 for 5 seconds on a 60 second cooldown. Saintly Greatstaff has a new functionality, and Whitemane has a new talent at level 20 which can be used to grant a target ally a permanent Zeal. Qhira's Finishing Touch has been buffed to help equalize the level 1 talent tier. Junkrat's base health and regeneration have been increased and we have some follow-up changes to even out his talents (see below for details).       The Scarlet Heist: Daily Quests Mobsters are back! After completing the Scarlet Heist quest line, a set of three new daily special event quests will be available. Using a Special Event dialog, you can choose one of those three quests and complete it for a Scarlet Heist Chest reward, once a day, until the event ends on December 3rd, 2019, PST. New Feature: Hero Mastery Rings A lot of you may remember the old 'Mastery Skins' and we are excited to bring back another way for players to show off their mastery of individual Heroes. With today's patch, players will be able to spend 5,000 gold to purchase augmented Hero Rings for any Hero over the levels of 15 (Level 1) and 25 (Level 2). These Mastery Rings are permanent when purchased and will be placed over the top of the normal Hero Ring, becoming visible to all players while in a match. Trigger radius of Lesser Healing Potions increased from .5 to 1 (matching base potions). Level 20 Perfect Gems [Active/W] Now reduces the cooldown of all Gem talents to 5 seconds, instead of a flat 25 second reduction.

      General
      Many abilities that were incorrectly incrementing Healing or Self Healing scores have been fixed. Protected now contributes to Healing or Self Healing Score. A.I. should no longer become stuck in a logic loop while attempting to capture Merc camps that have enemy structures nearby. User Interface
      Fixed additional issues that caused Gem purchase dialog show blank screen. Fixed typos in Boost tooltips. Fixed an issue where player names are cut off when they have a Boost active. MAC
      Fixed an issue that would cause mouse hover outlines for some objects to render solid black. Fixed an issue that would cause area of effect circles to render with an incorrect color. The latest balance update has hit the Nexus and here are the patch notes.
