Ion discussed patch 7.1.5 and 7.2 and the amount of content is crazy! Flying in Legion, Epic Class mounts, the Tomb of Sargeras, Argus and more!

Watcher stressed out the importance of steady content flow in a constantly "evolving" world. Below are the highlights of all the future content what awaits us in the Legion

Patch 7.1.5

  • A small patch, with "evergreen" content.
  • PTR will be up just after BlizzCon!

Features

  • Timewalking: Mists of Pandaria dungeons
  • The Brawler's Guild
    • Dozens of new bosses.
    • Rumbles - There will be bosses that will pull everyone while they are waiting for their turn.
      • Features shared rewards.
    • New Currencly: Brawler's Gold
    • Plenty of Shirts
    • Crocolisk Mount reward

      • Salute a guard and take on his patrol.
    • Hatching of the Hippogryph
  • Blade's Edge Arena
    • Receives a visual update.
    • Is the first arena to have an announcer, they will see how it goes.
  • Class Updates
    • So far, Blizzard focused on fixing bugs, but with this patch 7.1.5 there will be some talent overhauls, (mentioning "X" in our talent choice guides)
    • Secondary stats will be remastered to be less important.
    • Hunters will get their traps back!
    • Rogues are getting Shroud of Concealment ability back.

Patch 7.2

  • Flying is coming back!
    • You'll have to complete the Legion Pathfinder achievement, revolving around outdoor gameplay.
    • You'll need to reach Exalted with the new Legionfall rep.
    • At the end of the Broken Shore experience, every class will get a custom class flying mount!
  • Class Order Halls continues.
  • The Tomb of Sargeras
    • The Eye of Aman'thul is the fifth pillar of creation that awaits us in the Nighthold and we'll put them to use.
    • We'll fight the Avatar of Sargeras and Kil'jaeden.
  • Restoring and building elven ruins to create a foothold (similar to Isle of Quel'danas Patch 2.4) will be introduced when we'll be building our way up to the Tomb.
    • Armies of Legionfall faction is introduced.
      • Alliance & the Horde side to bring down a common foe.
  • New World Quests
  • Legion Assaults (similar to demon invasions)
    • Will disable all world quests in a specific area, the sky will turn dark.
  • Cathedral of Eternal Night (Dungeon) is coming, available in all difficulties.

  • New gold trait coming.
  • New ways to upgrade your weapon
  • A new three-pointer.
  • Relics that will modify more than one trait will be available.
  • There's a continuation  of the questline
  • A new hidden appearance for all weapons will be added.

    • Guardian Druids are getting an awesome looking bear form!

Dungeon Content in 7.2

  • Tombs of Sargeras raid will be added.

    • Across the board the difficulty and rewards of existing dungeons will be increased to stay relevant.
  • Upper & Lower Karazhan (available in Heroic & Mythic difficultties).

Legion End Content

  • To put an end to the Legion once and for all, we'll have to venture to Argus.

*sigh* I miss the days where we could BUY our flying. I'm only 2/11 in Suramar because I keep getting caught by the illusion piercers, and that place is NOT for hunters.

I'm on the other side of the argument. I'm glad flying was set back at the start, really gives us a good feel of the expansion and its content. After flying is implemented, lots of content will be trivialized, for example you can simply fly over Suramar City avoiding all enemies.

But, I'm glad you have to get all the content out of the way first in order to get flying.

I like the content too, but not when it comes at the expense of time that could be spent getting something else done. Gating flying is just Blizzard's way of making more money by forcing players to extend their subscriptions.

Um Komodo, you realize that that is Exactly The Point right? It's about putting their art ahead of your comfort.

What you don't seem to think of is that it has always been that way. Back in the day when you had to pay to get your flying ability, you had to grind your gold because it wasn't as easy as it is today. They always was a grinding part to get it and now it is by getting reputation because everyone have a ton of gold.

To put relative gold costs into perspective, would you be OK with flying costing around 5 million gold?

Many players are still waiting for Patch 7.3 to go live, before they complete the Mage Tower Challenge for their Artifact weapon appearance, because with increasing item level, the challenge becomes more trivial. If you have your appearance unlocked and think how good you are, you probably haven't heard of Muddymonk!
The player wrote on reddit that he finished Mage Tower Challenges for each class / specialization - that's a total of 36 challenges.

Redditor eke00372 uploaded a video of Argus the Unmaker from PTR. Blizzard opened Antorus for testing and a guild was able to access the raid's final boss, even though testing should have ended with Aggramar. The fight is still very unfinished. The boss can be CCed and isn't even an elite.
After defeating Aggramar, you talk to Magni and get teleported to the Seat of the Pantheon.
The fight takes place in an area called Seat of the Pantheon.

      Rewards
Multiple rewards await after you defeat Legion's final boss.
Scythe of the Unmaker (Polearm Weapon Transmog).

Shackled Ur'zul mount drops from Mythic Argus.

Kirin Tor Summoning Crystal is obtained when you complete Blood of a Titan.

Insignia of the Grand Army from completing The Death of a Titan.
