Every specialization will be receiving an additional Artifact appearance in Patch 7.2. Guardian Druids will receive an epic new bear form. The new appearances are tied to proving class trials and it was mentioned during the panel that you need to stand out if you have to obtain the appearance.

At the end of the day, the appearance should also be a visual indicator of your skill, let's say you join a dungeon group and you have this great new Guardian appearance, chances are most players will recognize your skill based on the appearance.

The Artifacts have been in the game since alpha, but with no source indications.

Druids are getting a spectral cat form.

Guardian Druids are obviously the winners by a large margin when it comes to 7.2 and appearances.

They surely could give artifacts that changed the appearance of Moonkin and Tree of Life/Treant.

Yes! Been looking at that same model for years, can we at least change hair styles or something?

I know you can glyh out of Moonkin form, it just seems like a cop out.  Give us some love.

Im surprised not to see a treant appearance, personally i love the red treant versions from val'sharah. I also like the flail appearances for warriors and paladins. Druids are the winner in my books, those looks are amazing but the rest are good.

another Broken Ashbringer...  I haven't changed my appearance from standard yet.  As of now, I probably never will.

...perhaps the yellow handle...  nah....  Close, but nah...

Same thing for me.

The shadowpriest weapon isn't that good looking.

I wished they gave us a cool loking mace instead.

Pretty much the same feeling with Restoration Shamans. None of the Artifacts look any good imo. All the maces look alike and the shield is silly. Maybe this is the first shield that looks somewhat decent. Enhancement on the other side though! At least we get compensation in form of a cool class mount.

I'm not sure this will work.

If I'm correct you can't transmog an illusion on the artifact appearance unless you transmog the artifact by itself to something different.

And I think there is no other flail model in WoW. So you can have either falils or a crusader illusion on a different model.

I'm confused by what you mean by this?

As expected we're getting a daily dose of hotfixes after the BfA launch and today's feature Azerite Gear traits getting tweaked, end of zone dungeon quest XP getting a significant increase, as well as a lot more profession and quest fixes.
      August 15 (source)
      Azerite Gear
Fixed an issue where the Azerite Trait Reckless Flurry was incorrectly increasing ability damage, in addition to auto attack damage. 7th Legionnaire's Tunic and Honorbound Outrider's Vestments now correctly have an Outlaw Rogue trait. The extra Subtlety Rogue trait has been removed. Fixed an issue where the Azerite Trait Wild Fleshrending was not increasing the damage of Swipe for Guardian Druids. Dungeons
Experience rewarded from end-of-zone dungeon quests has been greatly increased. Fixed an issue where players couldn't complete “Temple of Sethraliss: Ecological Research” in The Temple of Sethraliss on Normal difficulty. Items
Harlan's Loaded Dice now scales correctly with item level for its spells. Pet Battles
Francois can now be properly summoned and used in Pet Battles by Alliance characters. Fixed a bug that prevented Peachy and Winkle from battling as intended.
        Professions
Archaeology Fixed a bug that caused some digsites near Vigil Hill in Tiragarde Sound from providing fragments as intended. Blacksmithing Crafting the Recipe: Stormsteel Spear recipe now creates the correct item. Mining Fixed a bug that prevented ore gathered in Kul'Tiras and Zandalar from being stored in certain bags, as intended. Quests
Fixed a bug causing one of the Shadra Betrayers to evade during "The Ancient One". Fixed a bug that caused the Ancient Gong to sometimes become unusable during “Strong Alcohol”. Fixed a bug that made Taelia disappear under rare circumstances on “Pet Wind Serpent”. It should be harder to get separated from Rastakhan on "Ruby Inferno". “The Mine Sweeper” is now easier to locate and obtain. Goblin Mine Technicians aren't the tidiest bunch and may have left an extra Cracked Mine Sweeper in the Saltstone Mine. Players who disconnect before turning in "Dress to Impress" should now be able to properly see Flynn in the Dead Man's Tale. Fixed an issue where players could move during "Rest in the Depths", breaking the channeled spell. The Island Expeditions quest “Notched Coin” can now be turned in to Mili Wanderbrew. On “Return to Gloom Hollow”, players should no longer be able to get into a state where Titan Keeper Hezrel will not move. Previous Patch 8.0.1 Hotfixes

Gameinformer recently interviewed Game Director Ion Hazzikostas about how Blizzard maintains Warcraft lore. Did you know they had a team of WoW historians? Check out the highlights!
Check out Gamenformer for the full interview!
      Interview Highlights
Blizzard has a team of three lore scholars, Sean Copeland is the historian supervisor of the team. Their role is to field lore and research requests made by their internal dev teams, review publications, participate in creative sessions, and host lore seminars. WoW historians maintain language and pronunciation databases for specific phrases and terms. WoW covers plenty of languages: Eredun, Zandali, or Shath'yar (language of the Old Gods). One of the writers once requested pronunciation for the phrase: "Ak’agthshi ma uhnish, ak’uq shg’cul vwahuhn", which means "Our numbers are endless, our power beyond reckoning!" Alleria made a return in Patch 7.3 and it was up to the historians to track down every place where she was mentioned to ensure they don't do anything inconsistent. In Cataclysm, the final boss was Sinestra. They wanted a red dragon to come and join the players in the fight, ending with a sacrifice that would help players defeat the boss. It would have made sense to include Krasus in the encounter, but they realized he died in a book. Khadgar in the Warcraft Movie was much younger in the film than they had imagined him being at that point in time. In the Burning Crusade, he was depicted much older and had a long beard, so they decided to give him a new model. The goal with WoW Chronicles was to craft a cohesive and complelling guidebook that covers the entire history of the Warcraft universe. Copeland's team believes that continuity exists to enhance the story, not to tie the hands of creators.

Embers of War is a new cinematic released by Blizzard to go with Battle for Azeroth. It's a combination of all cinematics previewed so far including Bwonsamdi, Jaina's return to Kul Tiras, the Horde intro to Zandalar, and the final Battle for Lordaeron cutscene.
Lines have been drawn between the Horde and Alliance, loyalties tested, and the war between the factions has begun in earnest. The race is on to recruit new allies and gather a new powerful resource – Azerite. Will you heed the call of battle?

We have another interesting interview with Principal Exterior Level Designer Gary Platner and In-game Cinematic Project Director Terran Gregory by VG247. Check out the highlights!
Check out the full interview over at VG247.
      Interview Highlights
Alex Afrasiabi designed Battle for Azeroth like it would be the last expansion; they didn't hold back, went for the mega, and seized the day on design. Terran is really sad that gnomes didn't make an appearance in the cinematics, but CGI has its limitations to how many characters can be created. Siege of Lordaeron included more characters than any other Blizzard CGI film before. It's Blizzard's mission to tell the most compelling and emotional story that they can. Making everyone enjoy the story in the same way is an impossible goal. With the release of Warbringers: Sylvanas, Horde players started to show their discontent. There's even been one extreme case of targeted harassment aimed at Christie Golden. Creating a story that revolves around an all-out war required bold decisions. They knew the reactions to the burning of Teldrassil would be passionate, but they did exceed their expectations. Storytelling is about highs and lows. Old Soldier would not have resonated so well without Warbringers: Sylvanas. WoW is a living, breathing game. The team's always looking for ways to improve it. They'll support WoW for as long as the players continue to give them support. From a story perspective, they wondered how great an end WoW would need to have. It's an evergreen franchise that they've maintained like a "carefully-tended bonsai tree."

We have the inaugural hotfixes of Battle for Azeroth! We have a whole lot of quest fixes, including the inability to start second or third War Campaign Footholds, as well as mounts and dungeons getting a look.

The Nazmir quest "Poisoning the Brood" will now share credit to party members. The Targets for "A Wall of Iron" will now respawn more frequently. Players that were in the vicinity of, but did not get credit for killing Vilank'dor, will once again be able to complete the quest "To Sacrifice a Loa". Fixed an issue where too many enemies were participating in "Mojambo". Players should now be able to advance and complete "Devour Humanoid". “Adapting Our Tactics” can now be abandoned and re-accepted after selecting an upgrade to pursue Players who disconnect during “Rodrigo's Revenge” can now continue the quest. “The Last Witch Doctor of Krag'wa” will no longer talk to nearby players who are not on the quest.
