Building a PC for WoW

I am building a new PC and considering to use a i7 7700k for CPU and an Asus Strix GTX 1070 08g for GPU.

I currently use that gtx 1070 with a i5-2500k and having troubles at Suramar and Dalaran when a lot of stuff is happening. I raid a lot and some zones in Nighthold are especially hard on framerate. I have had to reduce a lots of settings in order to keep a fps of more than 45.

My objective is to keep a high framerate at all time (55 or more) while having the best settings.

Would my CPU selection help in achieving my goal?

I have an MSI GTX 1070 Gaming 8gb and the I7-6700K. I run it on ultra with the vertical sync setting that removes screen tearing.

Have yet to notice any hit in performance when running WOW.
