Outlaw 2 piece and Mastery

Recommended Posts

I'm sure the answer is either 'no' or 'Jesus christ, NO' but why not poll the crowd -

With the t19 set bonus giving 30% more chance to proc MG, would it be worth stacking mastery high enough to hit 100% procs?  Thinking the volume of extra attacks might make up for the relatively low damage.  Thoughts?

I think you summed up the answer I was going to give :P

In short, MG doesn't do enough damage to be a focal point for the spec

Reminds me of a brief moment at the start of WoD where it was actually better to use old weapons that had a chance on hit to proc a second swing; the sheer number of hits you were putting out (cause each swing could proc Mastery, which could proc another swing which could proc Mastery etc etc) was enough to make it wildly overpowered, and Combat's Mastery got nerfed pretty hard

Figured as much - thanks for the sanity check.

Remember when our best dps output was standing back and shooting a Blastershot Launcher?
