NH M Race Day 13: Serenity Silver, Wipe Counts

Recommended Posts

IDUixK4.jpg

Exorsus and Serenity are done with Nighthold and share their wipe counts plus we get an ETA on the World First video.

A much less hectic day than the one before, no drama or accusations or anything like that, just a solid race day! The biggest rivalry in the race was resolved as fanboys everywhere either roared in triumph or sighed in defeat, as Serenity took home the silver and downed Gul'dan World 2nd. It's still only Method and From Scratch on 9/10 and progressing on Gul'dan, as the 8/10 crowd grew even larger, including an Asia first and second kills on Star Augur from Korean guilds Right and AFK R, as well as Russian guild Prestige Gaming and FatBossTV guild Nova.

We also got word of when to expect Exorsus' World First kill video, and it might take a while as they decided to wait the traditional amount of time, aka until the top 5 finishes up. Considering there's still no 5th guild even ON Gul'dan, they might have to change their policy as weeks might pass until that 5th kill, and then people might start making up even more drama surrounding their win.

Serenity and Exorsus also shared their wipe counts for the raid, with the Russian guild only showing the actually difficult aka final three bosses:

99 less Gul'dan wipes for Exorsus over Serenity is very, very impressive and just shows how well they did in Nighthold. Method seems like the most likely to get the No.3 spot, but you can never rule From Scratch out, with either guild's kill being pretty imminent, while the rest of the top 10 will take quite a while to finish Nighthold.
As usual, if you want to follow the race live, check out Method.gg's coverage.

As you already said in the post, that huge difference in wipecount is just amazing. GG & clap to Exorsus. I actually was expecting Serenity to win this race, since they started on Gul'Dan before any other guild if I remember well. Let's see what happens on the next tier!

PS: I love to follow the race coverage, thanks a lot!

Some days I miss being apart of these races, especially as they're happening. Then I see the wrap-up posts and wipe counts and don't miss it at all anymore. Days of your lives spent on wipes that (role depending) might not even be your fault at all.

Executive Producer Holly Longdale teased some upcoming experimental PvE-focused content that Blizzard will soon reveal to the community.
It appears that Plunderstorm isn't the only new mode Blizzard plans to add to WoW this year.
Holly Longdale today teased an upcoming PvE-oriented event that will soon be revealed to us. Holly might be talking about the "Timerunning Pandamonium," expected in Patch 10.2.7.

      Greetings Citizens of Azeroth,
It’s been great seeing so many players taking the plunge into Plunderstorm and we’ve loved seeing all of the stories and feedback as this experimental event evolves. It will be exciting to see some of the community content creators going head-to-head as duos during the Plunderstorm Creator Royale on March 30!  This isn’t the end of the things we want to try in World of Warcraft, however, and we have more in store we can’t wait to show you.
Dragonflight Season 4 is in route as testing begins on the PTR and we’ll have more news to share soon™ on the next experiment we have up our sleeves. We hope those of you who are looking for PvE focused content will enjoy what we’re planning, all while we continue to press forward on development of our next expansion for World of Warcraft— The War Within.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many things the team has been hard at work on.
With gratitude and excitement for what we’ll do together next,
      Holly Longdale
