Ah yes, the weirdness has come to Torghast and is only increasing. After this morning's naked boss kill we now have a Warlock pet soloing another boss! Hukkath the Voidwalker faced off alone against Observer Zalgar (well, mostly alone, he did get some healing from his Warlock minion), and while it took a while, he made it!
There's plenty of anima powers that make things like this possible, which is why Torghast has a lot of potential for interesting builds and interactions. Hopefully future bosses will be even harder, so they might even require strange setups and even talent choices in addition to anima powers to beat!
You can browse Legendary Powers in the game's Adventure Guide.
If you open up the in-game Adventure Guide (Shift+J), you will find a new "Powers" tab, where you can see all Legendary Powers for your class and specialization. You can filter the out based on class and specialization.
Mousing over one shows you the slots where the power can go.
Earlier in the Beta, it even showed you the legendary power source, but it doesn't now.
You can find more details on how to craft Legendary Armor in Shadowlands in our Runecarving guide and where to get the individual powers in our Legendary Powers guide!
The Valfir Night Fae rare, which is theoretically only supposed to be killable when a member of the Covenant channels enough anima into the zone (as they get an item that removes his shield), was being farmed pretty regularly until recently - since he actually drops a mount. Blizzard seemingly put a stop to this, as mentioned in today's hotfixes:
Creatures and NPCs
Valfir the Unrelenting has bolstered his defense, making oncoming attacks much less effective. Players that wish to take down the beast will first need to send anima to this location to unlock the key to Valfir's demise. Valfir the Unrelenting will no longer wander quite so far from his spawn. However, it seems "bolstering his defenses" did not equal making him actually immune, as players are still going at it, with no Night Fae shield removal! Previously the rare was only sesceptible to AoE attacks and, as I've noticed myself, it actually became completely vulnerable while it was doing it's jumping attack. Whether that's been fixed is unclear, but what is clear is that it's taking a LOT longer, but that's not stopping anyone, it seems:
"You can't hold us back blizzard"
So, the message seems to be don't ever underestimate what players will put up with when there's a mount involved! And, in case you were wondering if it's worth it, here's the Wild Glimmerfur Prowler mount itself:
While it's still a little early to move to the "listening to your own music/podcasts/audio books" phase of the WoW life cycle, a lot of players have been commenting on the perfect song for the Shadowlands flight paths, as they're a very specific experience this time around. The general reddit consensus/a very popular one seems to be one particular track, and we think it fits pretty well.
To top it all off, StalinDNW went ahead and made a WeakAura to actually play the song whenever you mount up!
In case you're not familiar with it, the song is Bag Raiders - Shooting Stars, and you can get the WeakAura here. Obviously, you can also substitute the song with anything you want.
