Lucio is the third Overwatch Hero to be added to the Nexus and his release is aimed for next week. In the meantime, you can watch the Hero spotlight, which covers his interesting kit of abilities.

I wonder how he'll fit into the meta. Probably will be mostly useful in Diver/Ganking Teams, maybe even with Poke Teams. I'm a bit disappointed with his healing potential; Healing Wells heals faster than he does. =(

Not impressed by his healing... good for refreshing between battles, but looks like it will really struggle in true team fights. Just limits the comps he can be in. The speed boost might be under-rated for smaller maps (towers of doom) or if it effects hero-units like dragon or garden terror. We will have to see what comes out of more testing.

I honestly think he's a better healer/solo support than most people seem to think. his healing is enough to keep ppl topped off in lane, and with enough practice sound barrier could be all the "healing" your team needs in a teamfight. probably best in dive-y wombo-combo type comps that can really benefit from his speed to engage and only need health bar support for those few seconds while they either win or lose by their combo.

with the level 20 cleanse aura and 60% amp it up speed he can also bring disengage at or above the level even of mighty gust; so he may also find a home in pokey siege-and-sustain comps that want to simply avoid getting dove on.
