wow First Gul'dan Mythic Kill Video

4 posts in this topic

I0wK0Cx.jpg

From Scratch is the first guild to publish a video of Mythic Gul'dan. The kill granted them a world fourth.

Update: The video was removed and reuploaded here.

We finally get to see the Mythic-only phase, which featured the Demon Within as Khadgar tries to channel Illidan's soul back to his body.

The French guild also said on Twitter they will be taking a break and we won't likely see them fighting for world firsts in the Tomb of Sargeras raid. Did you enjoy the video?

The text is small and my old man eyes have difficulty,

Spoiler

Sargeradin confirmed? Clearly demon within gets the kill on gul'dan but is it sargeras partially in illidans body or meant to be some residual demon juice from all of his warcraft 3 power obtaining?

They didn't wait for world 5th kill or for world 1st to post their vid? Anyone knows why did they release it so early?

It was accidentally (?) leaked by one of their raiders and then just got reproduced by everyone.

I was almost starting to fall asleep until the final phase started. Its first two minutes were pretty amazing! On the other hand, it's quite disappointing that you can just CC and forget the Flame adds.

Tomb of Sargeras has a total of 9 encounters. In this early preview we're looking at different boss models and animations.
      Description
Aegwynn used this sacred temple of Elune to lock away the defeated Sargeras' avatar. She hoped it would remain dormant, buried deep within the earth, but the lure of power has continued to draw foul entities to this site. When Gul'dan re-entered the tomb, he tore down Aegwynn's wards and opened a doorway for the Legion to invade. Now, the fel army tears at the vault, hoping to reclaim their master's power.
      The raid has four wings
The Tidestone's Rest Wailing Halls Chamber of the Avatar Deceiver's Fall Encounters
Goroth Demonic Inquisition (Atrigan & Belac) Harjatan Mistress Sassz'line Sisters of the Moon (Huntress Naisha, Captain Yathae Moonstrike, Priestess Lunaspyre, Moontalon) Desolate Host (+Engine of Souls, Soul Queen Dejahna) Maiden of Vigilance The Fallen Avatar (+Oath-Keeper Sacraya) Kil'jaeden

Four Tomb of Sargeras raid bosses will be tested from Thursday to Friday, February 23-24. After the testing's finished, the same bosses will remain open during the weekend on Normal difficulty.
Game Director Ion "Watcher" Hazzikostas announced further raid testing scheduled for February 23-24.

On Thursday and Friday, February 23-24, we will be conducting a raid test of four more Tomb of Sargeras Heroic bosses.

Remember that Heroic difficulty scales for any group size between 10 and 30 players, so feel free to assemble and bring a group of any size within that range.

      Thursday, February 23

Sisters of the Moon - Heroic Tomb of Sargeras
      13:00 PST (16:00 EST, 22:00 CET)

The Desolate Host - Heroic Tomb of Sargeras
      14:00 PST (17:00 EST, 23:00 CET)

      Friday, February 24

Maiden of Vengeance - Heroic Tomb of Sargeras
      13:00 PST (16:00 EST, 22:00 CET)

The Fallen Avatar - Heroic Tomb of Sargeras
      14:00 PST (17:00 EST, 23:00 CET)

After testing concludes on Friday, we plan to open Normal Tomb of Sargeras over the weekend, with these same four bosses available on Normal difficulty.

As always, this testing schedule is very fluid and subject to the realities of a PTR environment. We might have to change the time of a testing session, change the bosses being tested, or cancel a test entirely, due to bugs, server hardware issues, etc. Keep an eye on this forum for the latest information, and thank you in advance for testing and providing feedback.

Q: How do I get into the raid zone?

A: In Dalaran, Orgrimmar, or Stormwind, you may speak to Nexus-Lord Donjon Rade Sr. in order to teleport into the raid zone while it is open for testing. (The option to teleport into a zone will not be available when the zone is not open for testing.)

Q: What character should I use to test the raid?

A: Whichever you prefer. We will be scaling players' effective level to 110 for raid testing, and their item level to an appropriate threshold for the encounter(s) being tested. For 7.2 raid testing, we'll be granting players all the new 7.2 artifact traits IFplayers have done the quest to reveal those new traits. Complete the Broken Shore intro experience in order to access this quest.

Q: How long does testing last?

A: The primary purpose of testing is to give us the information we need to balance the encounters, evaluate how mechanics are playing out in practice, and identify bugs. Once we're satisfied that we've received that information for a given boss, we'll be shutting down testing. Usually this takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours, but there are no guarantees.

Wondering what to do before 7.2 hits? Farm plenty of Order Resources and Bloods of Sargeras! There's also gold-making potential related to Class Mounts & crafted Legendary items.
      1. Good Suramaritan -  don't forget to finish the Suramar story. It's one of the requirements to unlock account-wide Legion flying. If you haven't started questing in Suramar, you should start now to avoid delays when 7.2 launches.
      2. Accummulate at least 20,000 Order Resources so you can continue your Order Hall upgrade straight away. Note that some mount tints and Order Hall pets / vanity items require additional Order Resources to unlock so it's better to get more. The sixth tier upgrade for the Order Hall costs 20K with one hour research time and tier 7 costs 30,000 with 14 days of research time. You can turn in Blood of Sargeras for 200 Order Resources (Order Resources Cache). The shoulder enchant Boon of the Bloodhunter will help farm bloods faster as you will loot Bloodhunter's Quarry from enemies. More information about Order Hall upgrade can be found here.
      3. Paladins and Warlocks need materials to craft their mounts. Even though the crafting cost will be re-evaulated in a future build, make sure you have enough of them.
Paladins need 50 Leystone Ores and 1 Saber's Eye. Warlocks need 10 Demonsteel Bars, 5 Pandemonite and 3 Unbending Potions. This also creates a good gold-making opportunity. Items above will have an increase in demand.
      4. Do you plan to craft Legendary items? Even though crafting requirements may change at any time during the 7.2 testing, keep a closer look at the crafting materials to have them ready.
The items also have a gold-making potential when 7.2 arrives.
125 Imbued Silkweave > Celumbra, the Night's Dichotomy 250 Stonehide Leather > The Sentinel's Eternal Refuge 250 Stormscale > Vigilance Perch 125 Demonsteel Bar > Rethu's Incessant Courage What's worth noting is that crafted Legendary items have become Bind on Equipped and can be sold in the Auction House, however it's still very early to say if they remain BoE. Nethershard Essence can be purchased for 2,000  Nethershards from Warmage Kath'leen.

Slayer's Felbroken Shrieker is the Demon Hunter Class Mount added in Patch 7.2 unlocked after completing To Fel and Back quest (Felwing Ledge Scenario).
Demon Hunters are getting a brand new Tier 20 Set appearance as they didn't exist back in the Burning Crusade. At the beginning of the video, the Demon Hunter's wearing the Normal difficulty Tier 20 Set that drops in the Tomb of Sargeras.
No additional Demon Hunter Class Mount color variations are available as of Build 23578. Blizzard may add them in a future build, but this is just speculation, because Monks get a single Class Mount appearance too.

Location: Horde – US Connected Realms: The Venture Co - Maelstrom - Lightninghoof
About us: Converge has been around since WoW Vanilla and has been raiding together since Molten Core; most of our members have been playing together for years. In its older days, when most of us where young, we were more raid focused and demanded a lot from our members. Over the years we had to adjust our playtime and priorities with a growing list of RL responsibilities and are now, for all intents and purposes, a two day raiding guild. We had to cut our total hours spent playing WoW but we still remain just as competitive and result oriented.
We raid twice a week, a total of 8 hours; attendance of 90% is mandatory. We require you to function at 100% from the second the raid starts all the way to its end; if you cannot commit to a raiding schedule and be online on time this is not a guild for you. GRepairs and flasks are provided by GBank; members pitch in mats and/or gold to help out. Guilds preparedness to raid and supply its members with enchants/etc is a team effort. If you are accepted as a member be prepared to do your part.
At this point in time we are trying to round out our roster and eventually attempt Mythic raids once we feel comfortable with our raid composition.
      Raid Times: 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM Eastern Time – Monday/Tuesday.
Recruitment: Currently we are only accepting Ranged DPS / Heals.
      Legion Progression:
      [EN] 7/7 Normal - 7/7 Heroic
      [ToV] 3/3 Normal - 3/3 Heroic
      [NH] 10/10 Normal - 7/10 Heroic
