Changes to Tier 20 Arcane Mage & Assassination Rogue set bonuses are coming, developers discuss possible changes to Mistweaver Monks, Shaman class mount will switch tints between specs and the crafting reagents for Paladin & Warlock class mounts will be re-evaluated in a future 7.2 build.

Arcane Mage Tier 20 2P Set Bonus

Item - Mage T20 Arcane 2P BonusItem - Mage T20 Arcane 2P Bonus will be redesigned to work with other spell than Greater InvisibilityGreater Invisibility to avoid spamming utility buttons for a DPS increase.

We're considering making the set bonus work with some spell other than Greater InvisibilityGreater Invisibility, to avoid overloading a utility button with a rotational DPS benefit.

Mistweaver Monks & Mythic Raiding

The MW community feels their spots in Mythic raids are jeopardized and progression hampers their class. No immediate changes are planned, but Sigma drafted possible future changes.

Blizzard LogoSigma (Source)

Much like the Disc post in the other thread, Mistweaver is more in a state of thinking ahead for possible refinements, but no immediate shake-ups. This is preliminary, but a possible direction is that some things could be smoothed out by reducing the emphasis on Essence FontEssence Font. That could help with, for example, drawing out more of a regular ongoing decision between Enveloping MistEnveloping Mist, VivifyVivify, and EffuseEffuse, rather than having that so often pushed out by Essence FontEssence Font. Also, making the value of mastery more stable, and reducing the importance of churning as much mana into Essence FontEssence Fonts as possible. For fair warning, a cooldown on EF is not out of the question after seeing how it's played out, but that would come alongside seeing how other heals might have to be strengthened.

Rising ThunderRising Thunder has wound up underperforming which we would likely look at at the same time. It would likely be helped regardless by changes that made it easier to spend mana and GCDs on Rising Sun KickRising Sun Kick, without always taking away from something like an Essence FontEssence Font.

Paladin & Warlock Class Mounts Requirements

Both classes need expensive materials to craft their class mounts. Requirements will be re-examined soon.

Blizzard LogoMuffinus (Source)

Why do only the Warlock and Paladin class mount quests require obscenely expensive mats? Its a bit ridiculous we alone have to spend tons of gold to get our mounts and no other classes do.

I posted this in the main thread, but cross-posting it here for visibility - we'll be re-examining the rare material requirement for the Paladin and Warlock class mounts, we don't want the gate for these to be an expensive tradeskill material.

Tier 20 Assassination Rogue 2P Set Bonus

The bonus to GarroteGarrote would only make sense while picking ExsanguinateExsanguinate or in a situation where you keep up two GarroteGarrotes. It's needless to say that after multiple RuptureRuptures are up, GarroteGarrote may not be worth using.

Blizzard LogoSigma (Source)

The 2-piece will get some single-target benefit. That said, part of the benefit of the bonus is the improved multi-target capability that GarroteGarrote has with a shorter cooldown.

Shaman Class Mount Adjustments

Currently, Enhancement Shamans have a fiery appearance for their class mount (Farseer's Raging TempestFarseer's Raging Tempest), which will be fixed in a future update. The spec will switch mount tints with Elemental.

Blizzard LogoMuffinus (Source)

In the next PTR build, elemental will be fiery, and enhancement will be stormy.

We are also making changes to the resto version to make it more watery, and remove the strobe effects.

Today we have some nerdscreams and the raid setup from Method's Argus kill, stealth hotfixes for the encounter, overall endboss stats for all of Legion as well as the Exorsus World 2nd Aggramar kill video.
The race to World First ended today as Method continued their recent dominance of Legion's raids and took down the probably final boss of the expansion, a mere 8 days after it was released (or 7 days after they started progress). We've already covered the WF itself, but there have been plenty of new stats coming after the kill, including the wipe count and raid setup. But first let's take a look/listen to the nerdscreams as the boss went down, somewhat less enthusiastic than usual I'd have to say:

Method also shared what stealth hotfixes happened while they were progressing on the final boss, not mentioned in any official notes:
We then have the raid composition for the kill itself, featuring 12 different classes including 3 rouges, 3 mages and 2 hunters:

And on to the wipe count, it took 320 failed attempts to get the world soul down as we already mentioned, and here's a comparison table for all the Legion endbosses, including the time they stayed alive for:
Raid / Boss WF Guild Wipe Count Time to kill (from region reset) Time to kill (from previous boss)  The Emerald Nightmare
      Xavius
      Exorsus 19 17h40min
+16h from US launch 2h43min  Trial of Valor
      Helya
       Method 223 2 days 7h
+16h from US launch 2 days 1h  The Nighthold
      Gul'dan
      Exorsus 247 11 days 6h
+16h from US launch 4 days 22h The Tomb of Sargeras
      Kil'jaeden
       Method 654 19 days 5h
+16h from US launch 11 days 19h  Antorus: the Burning Throne
      Argus the Unmaker
       Method 320 7 days 8h
+16h from US launch 6 days 14h And finally, we also got to see Exorsus World 2nd Aggramar kill video:
The race itself isn't quite over yet, as only Method have managed to end the Unmaker and finish up Antorus, and so the silver is still up in the air. Will Exorsus secure their expected second place finish or will the Asia guilds climb further up in this tier? Limit has also had the reset for two days now and seeing how crucial the gear from the 2nd clear is they still have quite the head start over Style War and Alpha. And let's not forget current 4th place holders Memento, who also might make it an all EU top 3. There are quite a few combinations that are open, so keep following Method.gg's live coverage to find out how it all shakes out, or check back in here when some more kills happen.

There's a new PTR build up, bringing with it Ulduar Timewalking and an even larger focus on the new 1-100 level scaling mechanics. Blizzard are asking for help in testing the questlines in some specific zones as well, so get on there and test!
      Build 25700 (source)
This week, we’ve implemented a new build that primarily brings bugfixes to the PTR. Our biggest focus for testing remains the new level 1-100 zone and dungeon scaling we’re introducing with 7.3.5. This is an extensive change to how loot, quests, and creatures work in the open world, so we continue to look for as much feedback as we can get about how things are working out.
Thank you so much for all of the feedback you’ve provided so far on leveling in Azeroth. We hope you keep the feedback coming, and we’d like to ask you to especially focus some of your testing on the questlines in these specific zones:
       Blade's Edge Mountains
       Duskwood
       Hellfire Peninsula
       Icecrown
       Kun-Lai Summit
       Nagrand
       Storm Peaks
       Terokkar Forest
       Vashj'ir
       Wetlands
Feedback on the difficulty, pacing, and most importantly, any bugs you might find while completing quests in the above zones would be most helpful. Please post your level scaling feedback here.
We now have Ulduar Timewalking available for testing, and it should be available for the next four days or so. Please post Ulduar Timewalking feedback here.
Also, a heads up—We’re planning a scheduled playtest of the new Seething Shore PvP Battleground. Get ready to Play With The Blues on the PTR on Tuesday, December 19 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. PST. The Seething Shore is a 10v10 race to gather Azerite on an island near Silithus, and we hope you’ll be able to join us there and test it thoroughly on Tuesday.
As always, thank you very much for participating in the PTR!
