Fury Warrior Low DPS

I'm currently getting somewhere between 250k and sometimes 270k during boss encounters (according to Skada) in the Nighthold. Everyone keeps telling me that its my iLvl/gear, but I'm not sure. I have everything enchanted and gem'd.  I have been trying to acquire gear with more haste, because I feel that  it is my biggest issue. I'm only at 20%. Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated. I am also currently going by the Icy Veins recommended rotation. Maybe not to the exact letter, but I feel like I have a lot of downtime. Which is why I am suspecting its all due to low haste.  I have linked my profile and logs below. Thank you!

Hi Drayqu

I'm not very experienced as fury and i'm also not a pro in reading the logs. But as far as i understand it, there are several points to improve. Of course your gear is not that good, your states are pretty bad (to much crit, to low haste and mastery). But gear is something you will earn, it will improve by it self :-).

In the fight you logged, you just reached a 11% parse (so 89% of the fury warriors in your ilvl-range did a better job than you did). That implies: there is absolutely someting wrong with your rotation. I just had a deeper look of your CD (battlecry, avatar, odyns fury) usage, and there is one problem: you don't line them up correctly. This is someting you have to understand, because fury lives for the battlecry-window.

I really recommend to read this guide from mmo-champion. There is written how you should use your skills.

Hey, I feel Like I'm Also finding it difficult to be pulling the amount of dps needed for my ilvl and other classes around my ilvl, and it's becoming frustrating for me, I've been reading the forums in depth, also been using Pawn with the icy veins load-out I have actually just hit my 30% mark for haste and I believe now haste becomes almost equal with mastery? until haste hits 50% , anu suggestions what I should change the pawn load out for that? any help would be muchly appreciated :)

Hey Rawrgasm68

I think you underestimate what you're doing. At Anomaly you had a 97% parse, so you can't do much better. Don't compare yourself with other players who might have a much higher ilvl. If you parse above 85%, thats actually a good result!

You're lining up your CD's in a right way. If you prefer to play with wrecking ball instead avatar, that's ok. What i see in the logs are two points:

- you should ensure that you can cast 2x RB during BC-Window. Do: BC with rampage, raging blow, odyns fury, bloodthirst, raging blow, furious slash. If you cast OF before the first RB, you'll mess up the rotation.

- i'm not quite sure about that, but it seems that you sometimes use rampage while you're not at 100 rage what result in a dps loss

Generally i think you're doing a good job. Go, get some better gear and don't mind to much about haste/mastery ratio unless you really want to squeez out the last few dps.

      SERVER: Illidan
RAID TIMES: Fridays & Sundays 10pm - 1am Server Time (CT)
      CURRENT PROGRESSION: 8/8N, 7/8H
      iLVL REQUIREMENT: 355 - 360+

      CURRENTLY RECRUITING
      Tank Healer DPS ABOUT US
Currently looking for skilled and laid back raiders for Heroic and eventually Mythic Uldir.
We're semi-casual in terms of the time we spend raiding, but are serious about progression, attendance, and performance.
Booty Pirates is a close-knit late night guild that hangs out in Discord frequently. We enjoy joking around, playing alts, doing Mythic+, playing other games, or just hanging out.
Players wanting just Mythic+ and a casual experience (no raiding) are welcomed!
Fun guild events are scheduled every Saturday!
TLDR; we're very social with guild members that actually talk to each other.
(18+ required, we talk like pirates!)
      GOALS FOR BfA
In Battle for Azeroth we plan to push Mythic more than we did previously in Legion, and not spend nearly as much time on Heroic.
This means we will jump into Mythic/Heroic weekends as soon as the majority of the Heroic gear is done. (Mythic Friday and Heroic Sunday, for example, until we phase Heroic out completely.)

Guild: Dawn of the Dead | http://www.dotd.org   Faction: Horde | Server: Zul'jin (PvE) | Timezone: EST   Current Progression: 4/8M Uldir   We've been raiding max size raids continuously since WoW has been released and are the only guild to have done so here on Zul'jin. We have strong leadership, no drama, and plans to keep raiding for years to come. Unlike many guilds, we're not recruiting for the short term, and we don't over-recruit.   Website: www.dotd.org
Raid Times: Our schedule is 8-11 EST Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.   Needs: We are a small guild, and we expect high attendance. As such, we recruit people to raid, and desire people who can step in and contribute immediately. We don’t recruit people to sit around, so all spots are for raiders who can expect to be in most every raid.   We are currently looking to add skilled and reliable:   Ranged DPS:
      High: Warlock
      Medium: Mage, S.Priest, Boomkin
      1 Healer:
      High: MW Monk
*ALL exceptional applicants will be considered regardless of the class.   What we ask of you:   Effort: Not all applicants come from highly progressed guilds, and that’s okay, but it does mean that you need to be prepared. We recruit the player, not the gear, but we do ask that you have some current experience and be a minimum iLvl of 370. You need to have the best gear available to you, (BoE, Crafted) with gems and top end enchants. You also need to be able to display an understanding of your class mechanics, role in a raid, and ability to learn new fights.   Attitude: It’s a game. We play for fun. How you fit in with the guild is taken very seriously. We’re a bunch of mostly 18-30 guys and girls who have fun playing together. While we have a good time, we also know when it’s time to buckle down and work hard.   Skill: The best way to determine skill is to see you in a raid. Because we don’t wish to have anyone transfer that we’re not serious about, be able to express your knowledge of your class and why you’re an exceptional player who would be an asset and is worth a shot. Gear will come with time. Skill will not. Impress us with your knowledge of your class and gameplay mechanics. Feel free to share any logs, theorycrafting, or other work you've done.   Commitment: We make a commitment to you, and ask you to do the same to us. A raid takes a team of more than 20 individuals working together. We rely on you to show up to raids, research your class and new fights, respect your fellow players, and notify us when you are unavailable. You rely on us for gear, experience, and coordination. It's a large investment of our time to train and gear new players, and we ask the same investment on your part so that we can each benefit.   We have a variety of informational resources available to prospective applicants on our web site: http://www.dotd.org-- please refer to our "Applications" forum for detailed information. Also feel free to visit us on WoWProgresss for more information and kill videos! http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/us/...wn+of+the+Dead   Should you wish to speak to someone in-game, please don't hesitate to reach out to an officer directly, whisper Xanah (Xana#1662) or Jeare (Jeare#1759).   We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Looking for a casually serious progression guild? Hordeland Security could be your new home! We started at launch, and have raided on Blackhand, Baelgun, and now Turalyon.

We currently raid on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00- 9:15 Central Time. We understand that no one has an unlimited amount of time to play. We raid with a goal oriented focus, to achieve AotC in current content and then progress into Mythic. We also have a few that pvp, a few more that push M+'s, and we've been known do a few mog/achievement runs.
      Interested? Drop us a line!
