I am a dud at fury :D

5 posts in this topic

Hello everyone, I am another one of THOSE people who are having trouble making the switch from arms to fury. I switched because I felt as if I had enough crit for Fury to be much better when I learnt the finer points of playing it, however I have had no change in my dps output. On some fights I am even throwing less dps. I have looked over a fair few guides but I am having trouble finding the major problems in WoL because I don't know what I am supposed to be looking for. Or even how to look for that matter tongue.png

Armory: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/saurfang/Indictment/advanced

WoL: http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-dx0kx51tm2raozyc/analyze/dd/source/?s=130&e=324

Any tips are appreciated smile.png

Thanks,

Indictment

I don't actually play fury myself (or any warrior class for that matter) but  I assume they work like the other melee classes & you want 7.5% hit & exp. looks to me like you're at almost 15% hit & only 5% expertise. Can't say anything about your rotation since it's foreign to me but reforging those stats should help some.

First of all, use Bloodthirst more. You are not using it on cooldown, and it shows on your enrage uptime, which could be higher.

Get rid of Spark of the Zandalar, it's horrible for Fury.

It's hard to see with WoL but make sure you are saving rage for CS. Using CS without saving rage for it is almost worthless.

Pretty much all I can see tonight with how tired I am I'll try and give it a more thorough look tomorrow.

Also, check on askmrobot.com. Few gems/enchants/reforges could use improvement.

Yeah, I just realised that I forgot to reforge after I got my new trinket. I am also having a problem getting my hit cap down. Now that I reforged back into 7.5% expertise, I am still sitting at 13% hit :/ Would I be better off using 502 pieces without hit in order to get my cap down? Or just hope the RNG gods give me 522s without hit and just deal with it atm?

One more question, should I replace the Spark of Zandalar with the Shado-Pan Assault trink?

Thanks!

About the trinket; yes. The SPA one is infinitely better than Spark.

About hit; it's not too bad. Since we're dual wielding, hit past the 7.5% cap isn't wasted as it is for other classes. It's not as good as other secondary stats, but it's still not totally useless. So just get it as low as you can with the gear you have and don't worry much more about it.

      Title says it all
I'm working on migrating form doomhammer to realms where aome friends have characters (for guild stuff further down the line)
So i'm making some new characters and iv'e decided that until i know more about the unlocking of the mag'har orcs that my horde main will be a warrior.
My issue is that i cant decide between an orc or a pandaren. Because they both have a racial ability that works well for a warrior.
I'm hoping somebody could give me a little a little advice on which would be the best choice.

<Abyss> is a Mythic raiding guild recruiting to bolster our Mythic raid team for BfA. We are a zero drama guild of adults who enjoy raiding progression content.
The guild has been around since day one of classic. We have a relatively relaxed raid environment and solid leadership that encourages players to excel while still enjoying the game.
Raiders must come prepared, on time, with flasks, pots, food, and runes.
Raiders must know their class and role.
Potential raiders must have been gearing for the content.
Drama Queens and Trolls need not apply.
      Our raid schedule is:
      Tuesday - Thursday
      8PM - 11PM CST
We are looking for the following classes/specs, but will consider any good and dedicated players.
      Healers - Any Class
DPS - Especially Mage, Monk, Rogue
      Tank - CLOSED
