Feral Weapon question

Currently I have a choice between using RF version (487) Gao-Rei, Staff of the Legendary Protector.  It has a socket for Crystallized Dread (+500 Agi) + 1 red gem slot.

 

The alternative is the BS-created Stormherald, Reborn (502).  However this weapon has zero sockets.

 

Should I equip & use the BS-created item?  Or should I sell it on the AH? :)

The red socket you have is a prismatic and it can be put in the Stormherald as well. You will definitely see a notable improvement because of Feral's scaling with weapon DPS. It's all down to:

 

1) Whether having a weapon with that much Hit/Exp will cause problems

2) Whether you need the gold more than you need to do more damage
