Patch 7.2 - What Happened to Naisha?

Recommended Posts

5aIRobd.jpg

Do you remember Huntress Naisha from Warcraft III? In Patch 7.2, we'll see her inside the Tomb of Sargeras!

This article contains spoilers!

Formerly, she was supposed to be one of the bosses in the Sisters of Moon encounter, but Blizzard either changed their mind (as she got replaced by Huntress Kasparian) or she was put up in the journal by mistake.

Naisha is haunting the Tomb as objective of the Tomb of Sargeras: Lost But Not Forgotten world quest. Such an iconic character and opportunity wasted. She could have been involved to help players understand reasons for Maiev's hatred toward Illidan, especially because they both (her and Illidan) are assisting players inside the Tomb and character interaction would be more than appreciated.

Since the introduction of the new Auction House in Patch 8.3, we've seen bugs pertaining to delayed Auction House mail. Blizzard posted an update on the matter and it turns out the issue is fixed on Americas realms with the same fix coming to European realms in approximately three hours.

We’ve received confirmation that all of the AH mail that was delayed is now delivered and available on Americas realms.
The same fix for European realms will take place in about 3 hours.

Rajani Warserpent is a new mount sold by the Rajani Quartermaster for 1 Pristine Cloud Serpent Scale. Up until now, we didn't know where the scale drops from, but it turns out it's from a Rare Elite called Rei Lun that spawns during Warring Clans Assault on the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
The Warring Clans will be assaulting the Vale for the next 2 days and 13 hours on US realms, so make sure to follow these steps to get your Rajani Warserpent:
      1. First, go to Vale of Eternal Blossoms and find the entrance to Guo-Lai Halls (22, 24).

      2. Go straight down the hallway until you come across Mogu traps, pass them, go down the stairs and you will find Rei Lun, the Chalcedony Construct who has a chance to drop Pristine Cloud Serpent Scale. The Rare Elite is located at 22, 12.

      3. You don't need to wait for the mob to spawn on your server. Simply, use the Premade Group Finder to search for "Rei Lun" groups, join them, kill the Rare Elite and leave the group.

As with most Rare Elites, you get one attempt per day on a single character to get Pristine Cloud Serpent Scale that can be exchanged for Rajani Warserpent in Mistfall Village. We tried server hopping and killed Rei Lun for two hours straight, but didn't see the scale drop.

For some odd reason, daily quests have been buffed and now award 125 reputation (up from 75) and 250 Coalescing Visions (up from 50).
UPDATE #2: Blizzard has confirmed that they have buffed Visions of N'Zoth daily quest rewards and you can find more details here.
UPDATE #1: With the daily quests reset on US realms, the rewards have increased to 125 reputation and 250 Coalescing Visions for each daily quest to match the EU region.
Placeholder for tweet 1219998722915995649 EU Daily Quests
As you can see below, the Twisted Corruptors daily quest awarded 125 reputation (138 with the Human Diplomacy racial), and 250 Coalescing Visions on EU realms with War Mode turned off. Thanks to Blainie for the screenshot.

      US Daily Quests
We tried to replicate this on US realms. Still, we were not able to get the same amount of reputation and Coalescing Visions from the daily quests. We only got the usual 75 reputation and 50 Coalescing Visions for each daily quest.

In both regions, Uldum is currently under assault by the Black Empire. We do not know if this behavior is intended and will update this post with more information as they become available. Thanks to Seksi for bringing this up.

We noticed earlier today that 8.3 daily quests offered better rewards on EU realms. Blizzard confirmed this was intended and that they've increased the rewards from the Visions of N'Zoth daily quests with the daily reset in each region, but the change was omitted from the latest hotfixes.
      Blizzard (Source)
With a hotfix that went live just before the daily reset, we’ve increased some of the rewards from the Visions of N’Zoth Daily Quests. Specifically: Threat Dailies Reputation gain increased from 75 to 125. Coalescing Visions increased from 50 to 250. Lesser Vision Dailies Coalescing Visions increased from 1000 to 1500. Corrupted Mementos increased from 8 to 30. The Lesser Visions first of the week rewards are unchanged – players will still get 2000 Coalescing Visions and 50 Corrupted Mementos for their first of the week. Specifically, they have increased the reputation gained from threat dailies to 125 (up from 75) and the number of Coalescing Visions to 250 (up from 50).
Lesser Vision dailies will reward 1,500 Coalescing Visions (up from 1,000) and 30 Corrupted Mementos (up from 8).

While the bulk your access to Horrific Visions will still come from doing the top-level Assault quests weekly, we wanted to make sure the Daily Quests in particular feel a bit more rewarding.
Again, this change is now live in this region with the daily reset earlier today.
      Thank you very much!

Ny'alotha opened today and we have two cinematics. The first one plays just before the penultimate boss and we see Wrathion and N'Zoth. The second one involves your character and the Kamehameha-esque destruction of N'Zoth.
UPDATE: The raid finale cutscene has been unlisted on YouTube.
      Wrathion & N'Zoth Cinematic
After the fight against Xanesh, Azshara reveals her plans and tells us how she wanted to stab N'Zoth with Xal'atath, Blade of the Black Empire, but ultimately, she gives the blade to us and Wrathion uses it to stab the God of the Deep and summon Carapace of N'Zoth.
      Raid Finale Cutscene
Battle for Azeroth ends with a short cutscene and a 28 second-long cinematic where your character destroys N'Zoth thanks to the help of Heart of Azeroth.
