Lilaina666 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2017 Mainly wondering if I should just go frost instead of fire even though I prefer fire because I know how to play it but know that it doesn't do the best damage compared to frost, so anyone know which? Thomo 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2017 I have been fire since start of Legion after spending WOD as arcane. I had the same issues as yourself about switching to frost as knew fire in and out but my lacking damage if there was no AoE was starting to annoy me. Recently specced frost and even though I don't have the legendaries for it (had both BIS fire ones) I am already ahead of my fire ST and in some cases I am beating our other fire mage on AoE....which he isn't happy about. I find the burst to actually be higher in frost and the sustained damage is just much stronger.
