Recommended Posts

There's another dev Q&A coming this Thursday and it's with the head honcho himself, Ion "Watcher" Hazzikostas! 7.2 and all its features are on the table, so get your questions ready and post em on the forums or on twitter!

Blizzard LogoBlizzard (source)

Join us live on Twitch Thursday, April 27, as we sit down with Game Director Ion Hazzikostas for our next live developer Q&A. We’ll be looking back over the first few weeks of 7.2, and answering your questions about everything involved with the patch, including the Broken Shore, Legion Assaults, new and improved dungeons, and more.

Feel free to submit questions by posting in this forum thread or via Twitter using the hashtag #LegionQA.

We’re looking forward to getting the chance to dive in and answer as much as we can, so we hope to see you Thursday at 11:00 a.m. PDT!

Fully knowing that these will not get answered in the Q&A, I'm going to be a naughty little rascal and ask some here instead;

 - Would you - Ion Hazzikostas personally - have preferred a few weeks extra to polish 7.2, with the thought of hotfixing (at the time) resource farming and monster item level scaling in mind?

 - Any chance on you further improving the generally very well received Broken Shore + Daily Assault World Quests for future content?

 - Can we please not have Assaults happening in the middle of the night, or at least let those extend until, say, 10 or 11 AM?

 - More interactivity regarding building structures on Broken Isles (Like defending them by means of WQ's or scenario's (Even if they ultimately get destroyed, it feels less "I just watched the world burn and did nothing to stop it"))

I can consolidate

"any plans to make the broken isle content good?" XD

Timeless isle 3.0 did not impress even then I think the patch should have been called broken shore and the actual patch when we get the raid called tomb.

Does this stuff ever have a net positive? It just seems to remind most of the player base why they are constantly annoyed at the development team's overall incompetence?.

Can you elaborate on why they are incompetent?

I could make an hour video describing how poorly thought out most of their stuff is. Just look at 7.2's release.

Nothing wrong with 7.2 so far imho, gave us new things to do for all types of players (challenges for the more hardcore, assaults and new broken shore WQs for everyone) and is a welcome breather before the release of Tomb raid.

Pretty happy here too. No major complaints other than a few quests could have been a bit more thought out on the Broken Shore. Nothing major though.

Although.. Graveyards. More of them. Please.

Executive Producer Holly Longdale teased some upcoming experimental PvE-focused content that Blizzard will soon reveal to the community.
It appears that Plunderstorm isn't the only new mode Blizzard plans to add to WoW this year.
Holly Longdale today teased an upcoming PvE-oriented event that will soon be revealed to us. Holly might be talking about the "Timerunning Pandamonium," expected in Patch 10.2.7.
      (Source)
      Greetings Citizens of Azeroth,
It’s been great seeing so many players taking the plunge into Plunderstorm and we’ve loved seeing all of the stories and feedback as this experimental event evolves. It will be exciting to see some of the community content creators going head-to-head as duos during the Plunderstorm Creator Royale on March 30!  This isn’t the end of the things we want to try in World of Warcraft, however, and we have more in store we can’t wait to show you.
Dragonflight Season 4 is in route as testing begins on the PTR and we’ll have more news to share soon™ on the next experiment we have up our sleeves. We hope those of you who are looking for PvE focused content will enjoy what we’re planning, all while we continue to press forward on development of our next expansion for World of Warcraft— The War Within.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many things the team has been hard at work on.
With gratitude and excitement for what we’ll do together next,
      Holly Longdale

We've looked at the Mythic+ Tier List for the first time in Patch 10.2.6!
      DISCLAIMER
The following post is based on data from U.GG. Therefore, the data presented here may differ from Petko's Mythic Tier Lists maintained on our site.

The tier list of each spec is determined by its effectiveness and prevalence at the highest levels of Mythic+ play.
