All six games were AMAZING. There were only 6, not 7, because Fnatic was given a 1-0 start for coming from the "winners" bracket of the tournament. Dignitas came out and punched them right in the mouth on towers of doom and didn't look like they would let up. Fnatic was CLEARLY the better team throughout the series and just kept giving Dignitas the one opening they needed, and to their credit they took it to the maximum to win a couple games.

Now we will see stitches for weeks in hero league with people failing horridly on the hooks.

I am a Dignitas fan myself, and my friend roots for Fnatic. It was a nerve wracking series as always to watch; their rivalry with each other from their scrimmages and familiarity over the year has turned into that kind of special respect that I would call them the main HotS derby that brews up the intense games where you know what each member of each team is attempting to do, what openings they are looking for and the raw aggression they unload on each other.

I've never been happier to see Genji get splatted than by Jay's hooks, even if he was struggling to connect them in the last game on top of other mistakes by Dig, and Zaelia's Illidan at this tournament has been a sight to behold in itself.

Fnatic have earned this though, with so many games that they played nearly impeccably, and they are choking less and less in each series it seems.I hope both teams have many more clashes... Just not too soon, my heart needs a rest.

Blackheart got greedy! Only the richest team can hope to win over his favor with a hefty payment of 100 coins. Dodge cannonball barrages while trying to gather enough Doubloons to take down your enemies. Complete three matches of the Booty Coffers brawl to earn a Winter Loot Chest.
Don't forget to claim your free Winter Loot Chest!
      Blizzard (Source)
      Rules:
Shuffle pick - Choose from one of three Heroes before entering the battle. Standard play - no talent or level restrictions. Blackheart appears immediately after the gates open, and accepts Doubloon turn-ins as usual. Skeleton Doubloon camps have been removed from the map. Doubloon chests spawn more often, appear at new locations, and drop more Doubloons. Forts and keeps drop 10 Doubloons when they die. Mercenary camps drop an additional 3 Doubloons (for a total of 5). The Boss camp drops a total of 15 Doubloons. While chests are active, Blackheart fires one cannonball every 2 seconds in an area immediately around the chest. Blackheart does not bombard enemy structures as normal (at 10/12/14 Doubloons, etc.). Instead, he waits for a team to turn in 100 Doubloons, whereupon he bombards the enemy core until it's dead. Rewards:

An issue with Matchmaking Rating seeding from the previous Season caused players to be placed at significantly different ranks from where they ended in the last Season. In order to fix the issue, Blizzard will be resetting the Hero and Team League records (including placement matches) of any affected accounts tomorrow.
      Blizzard (Source)
With yesterday’s patch, a number of players unfortunately encountered an issue that caused them to be placed at ranks that were significantly different from where they ended the previous season. This issue is unrelated to our Performance-Based Matchmaking implementation, and is instead a result of an issue with Matchmaking Rating seeding from the previous season. We’ve finished diagnosing the problem and are currently working on a fix which, once completed, means that we will be resetting the Hero and Team League records (including placement matches) of any affected accounts.

In order to implement the fix without taking down the servers, we will need to disable the Hero and Team League Matchmaking queues for roughly an hour. Our current plan is to start this in all regions at some point tomorrow, Dec 14, but we will keep this thread updated if anything changes. For players that have yet to complete your ranked placement matches, we recommend waiting until this issue is addressed.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this causes for those of you that have already made significant progress into Season 1 2018. We’re extremely excited to show off the major gameplay changes included in this patch, and will be working hard to implement a fix so you can experience everything the Nexus has to offer without major issues like this. Thank you very much for your patience.
