Diminishing returns on Haste for tankadins

Recommended Posts

At what point do we start getting diminishing returns from haste as a prot pala?!

Im currently unbuffed sitting at 45.43% so during raid im up to around 55-60% ish with raid buff and elixered up not including windsong ect. Im not hell to heal or squishy so my stam aint an issue.

At what point (if any with current gear levels) would we start seeing diminishing returns and go into mastery?

At the point in which you have 'wasted' time because your GCD is so fast you cannot hit buttons fast enough to keep up (at higher latencies this is realistic to hit).

lol!

Fortunatly i raid on a 100mb/s cable with like 6mb/s upload so my lat is never really then 35-40ms.

But basically your saying that there isnt a point where it has a diminishing return?

Actually tankadin's breakpoint is 50% unbuffed haste (21250 rating iirc), that's when your GCD caps at 1 second, you can, of course, get more and keep lowering your abilities cd, but that's when you could say you are getting "diminishing returns", it's just not worth it past that point since you could be getting mastery or stamina, if you don't like stamina go mastery, with 5.4 changes to SS and protadins going for EF mastery is a little bit more useful than it was in 5.3.
