Incredible Naxxramas Trailer by Hurricane

The man is back, after the massively impressive Burning Crusade T5 trailer last year, and it seems he's decided to do some timewalking of his own and head back to Vanilla itself. Specifically the very end of Vanilla and the least visited (let alone finished) raid in the history of the game - Naxxramas. We also get a very tantalizing sneak peak of his next project at the very end, which is oddly topical right now as we're about to head back to Black Temple very soon ourselves!

A damn fine display, as expected, and it seems it took him quite a while as the Burning Crusade one was released in September of 2016, as he mentions himself:

Quote

This trailer is my way of expressing the deep appreciation and respect for the old vanilla raiding back in 2006.

Production took 6 months (161 days).

This is my own personal project. It has no affiliation with any private server or Blizzard Entertainment.

And here's the making of video for his previous work, just to get an idea of how he manages these feats of strength!

This one has a pretty special significance to me personally, as it was the first raid where I got some really massive World Firsts (C'thun was just stupidly tuned and then hotfixed at a time more convenient for EU guilds, so I never really considered that such a big deal). That Kel'thuzad kill was just amazing, and since we're in the middle of a WF race right now I'm gonna use that excuse and post it right now!

Idk if it was on purpose or just an awesome typo, but that "a loot of good memories" is a WIN comment, if I ever saw one

Good job, sir Starym

Rofl, it wasn't a typo but it wasn't intended as "loot" either, was like "a looooot". Good catch!

Holy poop on a stick that was amazing. Just personally I'm in a really grumpy mood today due to work stuff and this just totally made my day. I was expecting some old model low rez silly fan thing, not a full theatrical cinematic masterpiece. In addition and I'm saying this because I want people to notice, there are some amazing small details in this. Specifically the one I loved is near the end you see corrupted asrbringer dragged on the ground, one of the most iconic and sought after weapons in the game (i vendored mine years ago >_>). There are just a lot of small details that show this was a labor of love. I was blown away by this :)

If @Hurricane sees this first good lord man good work, second, I request you make one for dragon soul :D

The new raid, Crucible of Storms, is coming in a few weeks, on April 16th, and is bringing higher base item level drops than the Battle of Dazar'alor raid. This made it seem that the maximum possible attainable item level was also increasing, since the Mythic level drops from the Crucible are already at or very close to the 425 cap, before any war or titan forging happens and they had a "+" in the dungeon journal, indicating they could be upgraded.
Today Blizzard clarified that the cap would not be increasing, meaning that the Mythic items from the final boss of the new raid won't be able to warforge or titanforge, and the first boss will only be able to warforge.
For more info on the upcoming raid, whether it's release schedule, items dropped or anything else, you can check out our preview.
