Ellienka is a 21-year-old self-taught artist and creative streamer from Czech Republic that caught our attention and we decided to devote our second community spotlight to her art.

Recently, she finished a huge painting of Deathwing that is definitely a masterpiece. We made a short interview with her and she sent us some screenshots of her latest work to give you a better idea about what she's up to!

Interview

How long have you been drawing?

I've started drawing three years ago, but actively for the last six months. I'm a self-taught artist and never attended any drawing schools. I studied at a school of printing (graphics & printing) here in Czech Republic. I never watched any tutorials, because I wanted to come up with my own techniques and that ultimately worked out quite well. I'm using oil paints In my works of art.

My drawing is horrible. Is it possible to learn drawing without talent?

Of course it's possible, but you know how they say: "No pain, no gain". Even if you have the talent, you need to work hard to improve and get better.

How often do you stream?

I began streaming just three months ago, but now I'm streaming every day.

Are you selling your pieces somewhere?

I have an e-shop, where I sell most of my art. Both original works and copies.

Do you play any Blizzard games? If so, which one's your favorite?

I grew up playing World of Warcraft. I have been playing the game ever since it came out. It's obviously my favorite game.

Which race / class do you play?

I play mostly Blood Elves, but I fell in love with my Draenei. I love playing Holy Priests, Mages and I got to like Demon Hunters in Legion. What I don't like about Legion is the current PvP system. When I played in Wrath on a private server, I was really into PvP, but now in Legion (playing obviously on official servers), it doesn't interest me.

How do you decide what to draw next? Do you have any favorite lore characters?

The process of decision-making is entirely up to my fans and depends on what they'd like to see. My favorite character has to be the Lich King.

Deathwing looks dope! How long did it take to draw?

Deathwing took approximately 300 - 350 hours to draw and I spent more than 6 months drawing it.

She does a really good job copying Blizzard art (Cataclysm Deathwing, WotLK Sindragosa and HS Thrall in particular) but when it comes to some of the pictures they seem off. I mean, when I study Jaina's picture on that keyboard it looks like her neck is... deformed. Suffering from Undeath?

Her Katarina, Jinx and Ahri (South one) look good but because the pictures are quite distant, I can't really study the details... Actually, opening the picture and zooming in, I see the same kind of deformity on Katarina and Ahri's neck...? Is this just some weird texture illusion created because of the camera that took the photo?

Also the chibi Jaina on the bottom also hella cute. (Her hat especially, looks like it could block her vision at any time causing her to pyroblast herself.

I agree with you on Jaina.  I am not an art critic but yes, her neck does look strange.  Man, that Illidan though...

A smaller batch today as Blizzard address many of the Timewalking issues that came up, including the lower item level titanforged items, dungeon tuning due to the squish and more. We also got a few more trinket and Azerote power fixes.
      September 25 (source)
      Items
Fixed some scaling and tuning issues with the Brewmaiden trinkets from the Coren Direbrew. Heart of Azeroth Laser Matrix should now hit targets that are within striking distance of a typical ranged damage dealer, as intended. Player versus Player
Demon Hunter Havoc Thirsting Blades (Azerite Trait) additional Chaos Strike damage now diminishes per stack of its buff when in combat with enemy players.
      Timewalking
Fixed a bug that caused Warforged Timewalking items to not have the intended item level. Fixed a bug that prevented Azerite Power from dropping in Timewalking dungeons for players with a Heart of Azeroth. Increased player gear power, and greatly lowered damage and health of many creatures and spells in End Time. Timewalking vendor items now scale to item level 320 at player level 120. Legion Timewalking quests should no longer be offered by Archmage Timear in Dalaran. For the Battle for Azeroth Timewalking quest, seek out Chronicler Shoopa in Dazar'alor or Chronicler Toopa in Boralas. Previous Hotfixes

You read that title correctly: we may be almost two months into Battle for Azeroth, but a guild managed to down the notorious end boss from the penultimate raiding tier of Legion only yesterday.
The Feat of Strength was achieved by  <realm first btw> 1 year and 3 months after the release of Mythic Tomb of Sargeras. The guild proceeded to disband afterwards, although -  according to a comment on Reddit - it was originally created with the sole purpose of achieving this realm first kill. They even shared their nerd screams for this great achievement on Twitch.

Wyrmrest Accord is one of the most well-known RP servers on the US. Players are obviously not that focused on the competitive aspect of the game, but there's still some raiding presence. Five guilds have cleared Mythic Antorus and four guilds are currently on 2 out of 8 bosses on Mythic Uldir.
Kil'Jaeden was the only boss that had gotten away. The first guild on Tier 20 killed Mythic Fallen Avatar two weeks before the release of Antorus and it seems that afterwards nobody bothered with clearing Tomb of Sargeras.

Wowprogress still hasn't updated with the KJ kill - if it ever does, given that it was done by a disbanded guild
We all remember what a pleasant walkover of a boss Kil'Jaeden was on Mythic difficulty. The big bad guy, thanks to whom the "mathematically impossible" meme became relevant again, remained alive for 19 days when first released. It took Method 3 resets and 654 wipes to achieve the Kil'Jaeden world first, making it one of the hardest bosses in WoW's history.

Update: it seems the whole thing was a misunderstanding:
You can also check out his thoughts on the whole thing in our interview.
      Ythisens (source)
As a reminder, posting about account actions is generally not allowed on the forums and it is not a means to appeal or resolve issues. This was resolved privately between this player and us after the video he posted this morning.

Just pulling back the curtain a little here but long story short, this was a mistake on our end. This player actually has a great history of reporting issues with us that they've found, and they wait for us to verify it's fixed before they put the videos up. This was a case of not everyone internally knowing this was happening and that the exploits he showcased were fixed, before the videos were posted.

The videos being posted are an example of great bug reporting in how detailed they are in showing how exactly to reproduce an issue. This is something Ion hit on in the last Q&A where he talked about the Quality Assurance team and how they have to reproduce issues that players report to us. Sometimes reports aren't detailed enough and it makes it a little harder to figure out some issues.

I just want to end this by plugging the correct channels to report bugs in.
To report a bug in-game: Click Help to open the Customer Support window.
      Click Submit Bug.
Enter the details of the bug, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.
      Click Submit.
You can also report bugs over in the Bug Reporting Forum here:
      https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/1012660/

If you'd like to report something like an exploit and not advertise it, a way you can report that it is here:
      https://us.blizzard.com/en-us/submit/hacks.html

This is not the case at all on any point that you've made. The MVPs@blizzard.com email address is for any and all concerns regarding the MVPs. Please stop trying to spread false information in threads.
      Updated.
Well this is a little sad, or great depending on your outlook - Rextroy, the Paladin who recently soloed both MOTHER and Vectis in Uldir (with Vecits taking all of 0.5 seconds) with very, very creative use of game mechanics, got banned for a month. The Vectis kill in particular seemed to be a sore spot, as it got him reported many times, but there's still no word from Blizzard on what specific incident caused the ban.

Check out Rextroy's thoughts on the matter below and check back later in the week when we'll be posting an in-depth interview with the new solo king (or rather, highest profile soloer at the moment), focusing on the exploit/creative use of game mechanics dichotomy.
