Fury DPS

Hi, so I'd like to think that have got the fury rotation down, I've been using the Icy veins guide and some pointers from MMO-Champion. I don't think I have any big issues apart from the BC with CoF trinket, like if it's worth waiting for other cooldowns like OF to be up with BC, that's my main question.

So I have linked my logs for some PuG raiding the other week, so if someone is up for the task of analyzing them for me, that'd be great. Sorry if my sentences are wrong or weird, I'm really hungover...

( In Goroth Normal, you will see some downtime in the middle of the fight. I got disconnected that is the answer:/ )

Thanks, this is my first post here so if I'm missing anything please comment! :)

You want to save Odyn's Fury for a Battle Cry window, yes. With your CoF and a properly managed rotation, you shouldn't have to wait too long for these to line up every time OF becomes available. In my experience I also notice that everything tends to line up a little nicely every other CD window as well - Umbral Moonglaives, Battle Cry, and Odyn's Fury. If you happen to miss an Odyn's Fury / Battle Cry combination, I don't think it's worth it to hold OF until the next BC availability; just cast it with a Frothing Berserker and Enrage buff combination and line it up with Battle Cry the next time around. I may be wrong with this approach but this is how I handle it personally.

There is one thing I noticed while looking over your logs and that's your handling of Umbral Moonglaives and Battle Cry. In your Maiden kill, for instance, you popped Battle Cry and then your trinket. You need to pop the trinket first and save Battle Cry for 1 GCD to guarantee the final burst to be affected by Battle Cry. The trinket lasts for 8 seconds and Battle Cry lasts for 7. Pop the trinket, wait one GCD, pop Battle Cry. You'll get more damage from the trinket that way.

Mh, somewhere i read you basically NEVER cast OF outside BC-window. If you miss to cast it during BC, then you hold it for the next BC-window. With CoF this souldn't take that long (playing fury without CoF isn't competitive at all).

I didn't take a deeper view on logs, i just checked your armory. It's displaying that you just got 22% haste. This is a way to low. As far as i know, you should have at least 27-28% haste, better 30% because there seems to be a breakpoint. You equipped a ring with high crit and some versatilty. Throw it away, i would bet that every haste/mastery will sim better, even if it is 30ilvl lower.

I'm pretty sure there are also some errors in rotation, but it should be rather reviewed by a more experienced fury than me as prot :-)

It depends on if and when you notice it. 2/3 times it would probably be held until the next BC window but if it's caught early enough you can cast an OF with Enrage and Frothing up and still have the CD line up with the next BC window (even taking CoF into consideration). OF is only a 45 second CD; the objective would be to not waste the opportunity to get another cast in even if it's outside a BC window.

It's a very unique situation - nothing that happens on any type of regular basis but I have seen it come up. As I started with, 2/3 times it won't happen like that and the player would just end up holding it until the next BC window because the CD would not be reset by the time BC becomes available again.

This used to be the case to get an extra GCD in during our Battle Cry window. However, when the build turned to us taking Reckless AbandonReckless Abandon in our Tier 7 talents, regardless of the encounter, the 30% breakpoint is no longer necessary.

Good evening, Sajakain.

Okey, I see. I'll start using Umbral before Battle Cry.

Thanks.

      CURRENTLY RECRUITING
      Tank Healer DPS ABOUT US
Currently looking for skilled and laid back raiders for Heroic and eventually Mythic Uldir.
We're semi-casual in terms of the time we spend raiding, but are serious about progression, attendance, and performance.
Booty Pirates is a close-knit late night guild that hangs out in Discord frequently. We enjoy joking around, playing alts, doing Mythic+, playing other games, or just hanging out.
Players wanting just Mythic+ and a casual experience (no raiding) are welcomed!
Fun guild events are scheduled every Saturday!
TLDR; we're very social with guild members that actually talk to each other.
(18+ required, we talk like pirates!)
      GOALS FOR BfA
In Battle for Azeroth we plan to push Mythic more than we did previously in Legion, and not spend nearly as much time on Heroic.
This means we will jump into Mythic/Heroic weekends as soon as the majority of the Heroic gear is done. (Mythic Friday and Heroic Sunday, for example, until we phase Heroic out completely.)
      JOINING THE BOOTY PIRATES CREW
      - Mythic+ or Casual: Add me on Battle.net or whisper me in-game for an invite.

Guild: Dawn of the Dead | http://www.dotd.org   Faction: Horde | Server: Zul'jin (PvE) | Timezone: EST   Current Progression: 4/8M Uldir   We've been raiding max size raids continuously since WoW has been released and are the only guild to have done so here on Zul'jin. We have strong leadership, no drama, and plans to keep raiding for years to come. Unlike many guilds, we're not recruiting for the short term, and we don't over-recruit.   Website: www.dotd.org
Raid Times: Our schedule is 8-11 EST Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.   Needs: We are a small guild, and we expect high attendance. As such, we recruit people to raid, and desire people who can step in and contribute immediately. We don’t recruit people to sit around, so all spots are for raiders who can expect to be in most every raid.   We are currently looking to add skilled and reliable:   Ranged DPS:
      High: Warlock
      Medium: Mage, S.Priest, Boomkin
      1 Healer:
      High: MW Monk
*ALL exceptional applicants will be considered regardless of the class.   What we ask of you:   Effort: Not all applicants come from highly progressed guilds, and that’s okay, but it does mean that you need to be prepared. We recruit the player, not the gear, but we do ask that you have some current experience and be a minimum iLvl of 370. You need to have the best gear available to you, (BoE, Crafted) with gems and top end enchants. You also need to be able to display an understanding of your class mechanics, role in a raid, and ability to learn new fights.   Attitude: It’s a game. We play for fun. How you fit in with the guild is taken very seriously. We’re a bunch of mostly 18-30 guys and girls who have fun playing together. While we have a good time, we also know when it’s time to buckle down and work hard.   Skill: The best way to determine skill is to see you in a raid. Because we don’t wish to have anyone transfer that we’re not serious about, be able to express your knowledge of your class and why you’re an exceptional player who would be an asset and is worth a shot. Gear will come with time. Skill will not. Impress us with your knowledge of your class and gameplay mechanics. Feel free to share any logs, theorycrafting, or other work you've done.   Commitment: We make a commitment to you, and ask you to do the same to us. A raid takes a team of more than 20 individuals working together. We rely on you to show up to raids, research your class and new fights, respect your fellow players, and notify us when you are unavailable. You rely on us for gear, experience, and coordination. It's a large investment of our time to train and gear new players, and we ask the same investment on your part so that we can each benefit.   We have a variety of informational resources available to prospective applicants on our web site: http://www.dotd.org-- please refer to our "Applications" forum for detailed information. Also feel free to visit us on WoWProgresss for more information and kill videos! http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/us/...wn+of+the+Dead   Should you wish to speak to someone in-game, please don't hesitate to reach out to an officer directly, whisper Xanah (Xana#1662) or Jeare (Jeare#1759).   We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Looking for a casually serious progression guild? Hordeland Security could be your new home! We started at launch, and have raided on Blackhand, Baelgun, and now Turalyon.

We currently raid on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00- 9:15 Central Time. We understand that no one has an unlimited amount of time to play. We raid with a goal oriented focus, to achieve AotC in current content and then progress into Mythic. We also have a few that pvp, a few more that push M+'s, and we've been known do a few mog/achievement runs.
      Interested? Drop us a line!

      Hi everyone,

We are a guild that transferred from Alexstrasza to join the progression raiding scene as that server is very low population now. We are currently 8/8N and 4/8H uldir, and looking to move into heroics soon and mythic just after.

We do more than just raid, we love to do keys, transmog runs, and even some PvP. We have a large range of players from several walks of life and have a unique and fun atmosphere, we are friendly and love helping people.

We are looking for a few more members for our Sunday/Monday 5-8pm PST, and our tue/third 5-8pm PST. If anyone is interested in raid leading that will work too.

We are primarily east coast based but have a plethora of players that are on at all times of day.

Main needs for our raid team:
      ranged dps
      Healers
      Exceptional players

Of course all players as welcome as we do other guild activities such as world PVP, keys, xmog and other social activities.

So come join this very active guild and we hope to hear from you.

If you would like more information please add my btag at Kaatra#5865.

I look forward to hearing from all of you.
