Gamescom is almost here and don't worry if you can't make it in person! Blizzard published a streamer line-up for all games, so chances are one of your favorite streamers will be livestreaming the event.

Gamescom is starting on August 22 in Cologne, Germany and everyone's waiting for a World of Warcraft announcement. Blizzard might reveal WoW's next expansion providing more details at BlizzCon later this year. Gamescom will be here around the time of 7.3 release, so if they don't plan to announce the next expansion, we'll hopefully see at least the Patch 7.3 cinematic trailer.

This truly shows me how little they care about Diablo 3 right now. Guessing there will be no announcement for Diablo 4 at Gamescon.

Nah. We'll likely see a WoW announcement, they won't want to take away from that. We'll see D4 announcement next year IMO.

If we get D4 announcement next year, we will be getting it around year 2021. Oh man, can't wait :D

Thing is, Blizzard must be thinking about it. Diablo is a serious money loser without frequent expansions and, given that they are unlikely to add another full expansion like RoS to the game, it must still be losing them so much money. Surely, from a business standpoint, D4 has to come soon? Are they really happy to keep losing money on D3?
