31538-patch-73-ptr-dev-notes-build-24473

Blizzard's busy with 7.3 testing and the patch will probably be live by the end of August. This week's second 7.3 PTR build focuses on content rollout using an accelerated schedule.

Not all 7.3 content will be available from day one. More information about the content rollout can be found in our Returing Player Guide. Stay tuned for more details.

This week, we’re testing 7.3’s weekly content rollout on the PTR, using an accelerated schedule. Over the next few days, we’ll be unlocking things on the PTR in the order they’ll be available on live after 7.3 releases, according to the following schedule:

  • “Week 1” is currently active on the PTR. This includes the first two story chapters and their related unlocks, including World Quests in the first two Argus areas.
  • “Week 2” will activate tomorrow, August 16. This includes the next couple chapters of the story, access to the third Argus area, and Invasion Points
  • “Week 3” will activate Friday, August 18. This includes the remaining story chapters and the rest of 7.3’s non-raid content, such as the Seat of the Triumvirate dungeon and access to the Netherlight Crucible.

As this testing continues, please let us know if you encounter any strange errors or inconsistencies. Thanks!

Axcel has been hard at work on Project Grunt, the re-imagining of WoW in Unreal Engine 5, and it's time to check out the results! We've already seen the massively impressive Orgrimmar Gates and even a taste of the potential combat, but today we have several videos of some of WoW's most well-known zones. Of course these aren't the actual fully realized zones, but more of a taste as to how they might look.
Starting with the big one, here's the Frozen Throne, albeit with an unexpected boss at the end (is that what Resto Druids look like in UE5??!1) :
Then it's on to some classics, with Ashenvale and the Crossroads:
      Astranaar looks particularly great:
And finally we have some Dwarven architecture to take a look at:

Still truly impressive work, and hopefully we'll see more soon!

Rextroy's back with another broken one-shot combo. This time, it revolves around Ignite dealing 7 million damage.
Rextroy utilizes Provisoner Jin'hake, the very same NPC used in his Raid Boss Versus Orgrimmar Video. Here is some background information about the one-shot combo.
      Background Information
This strategy is really similar to the one used in the last video. The level 10 NPC Provisioner Jin'hake is unkillable, and that is deadly when combined with the Fire Mage's Ignite effect.
Ignite makes a % of the damage you deal (from certain spells) remain as a dot on the target which can be spread to nearby enemies with Fire Blast.
This means, since the troll takes HUGE damage, the ignite inflicted on him will also be massive... And then you simply spread that with a Fire Blast, and most things nearby will be one shot It took just under 10 seconds to solo the Orgrimmar Faction boss, Rokhan, and obtain the Opposing Orgrimmar achievement.
Combining this with some leech, made me almost unstoppable, especially while being in an indoor area! Almost a bit too OP....
