Blizzard have addressed issues players have been having with their UI profiles, where they would lose all of them. The problems are related to disconnects and there is a hotfix coming soon.
UI Profiles Missing Fix (Source)
We’ve seen this happen to players who experienced the bad luck of getting disconnected while loading into the game. We’ve developed a hotfix for that specific scenario, and the hotfix should be coming to all realms soon.
But the hotfix won’t retroactively recreate what was lost. To make sure you keep your custom UI (and so that you can use it elsewhere, if you like), you’ll want to export and save it outside the game.
While in-game, hit and then:
Select Edit Mode. Select the layout you wish to export from the dropdown. Open the dropdown and select the Share option. Select the Copy To Clipboard sub-option. Create a blank text file on your PC, and paste the string you just copied into the new file. Save that text file somewhere safe. To use a UI that you previously saved to a text file:
Copy the entire text from the text file. Go into Edit Mode. In the layout dropdown, select Import. Paste the text from your clipboard into the Import Text window. Give it a name and click the Import button.
The very first hotfixes of Dragonflight have arrived and it's a massive batch! We have a big class tuning pass, as well as some smaller class fixes, with achievement and PvP changes included too.

It seems the Dragonflight launch is having some issues, as we're seeing plenty of players have some issues.
We'll be updating this post as more reports come in, but the main message is - if you're having trouble logging in or getting to the Dragon Isles, you're not the only one.
This last one is just too good to believe, as Raszageth's timing could not have been better:
Another tragic tale:
Some of those that made it through decided to show some solidarity to their party members, and use their time in the Isles wisely:
Another warning to always think before you hearth:
Say what you will about Shadowlands, but it had a smooth launch, and players are already re-evaluating their views on the now former expansion:
Some players didn't even know how lucky they were, as they made it to the Dragon Isles just fine, played a little, but then DARED to log out:
Then there's the usual source of trouble for a game:
The greatest horror of all: some players can't even leave the Shadowlands due to the world server being down:
And the memes have started already:
From long or infinite loading screens to the Dragon Isle boats just not showing up, with "unknown time until arrival" there's a lot happening at the expansion's launch.
After the long waits for the boat Blizzard finally spawned a portal to the Dragon Isles, but those that entered faced long and/or infinite loading screens, and some are just getting "Transnsfer aborted: instance not found" errors.
Even those that made the original boats didn't quite make it across.
And then there's those that don't even have world servers!
Well that was fast (although not quite as fast as expected due to the launch issues)! We already have our first max-level character in Dragonflight, as Korean players Adelio and his group managed to gain those 10 new levels as if it was nothing (as reported by Method's stream event). With some really long loading screens for the US and EU side of the launch, many players managed to actually get to the Dragon Isles instantly and start leveling there and while Korean servers also had some issues, the World First group were only affected by a small boat wait.
As you can see that final ding came from some crafting XP and a quest turn-in, but Adelio and two other players from their group were one of the lucky players to get to the Isles quickly, despite having to wait some 7 minutes for the boat, and just proceeded to speed level the quests and get those World Firsts!
There were many tactics to getting to max (with pre-completed quests at the ready being standard), from running Torghast or even island expeditions, players heading to Deepholm, but crafting XP turned out to be the key point, as players did their crafting at different times, complementing whichever other strategy they were using. In the end it was a "regular" speed run of the Dragon Isles quest that won the day, so congratulations to Adelio and their group!
Over on the West side we have Chaoswithin grabbing the local first level 70 a short while ago as well, and there are around 5-7 players currently level 70 right now! Interestingly Echo's Gingi actually managed to get to 70 in around an hour and a half, as it took him a long time to log in and get past the loading screen.
You can check out the longer run up to the World First max level for the new expasion, with the crafting part included as well:
For those lucky enough to be able to play in the new isles, here's a very handy map that marks all the important points of interest in our new Dragon Isles capital. Courtesy of Jojoejoe, the most relevant detail you can spot below is an actual Auction House! But there's plenty more, including the portals.
