Antorus is back on the schedule this week, with six bosses getting in line to be tested, starting on Thursday. No LFR weekend this time either as we only get the two days on Heroic to check out the encounters.

Blizzard LogoSeptember 28-29 (source)

On Thursday, September 28th and Friday, September 29th we will be conducting raid tests of Antorus, the Burning Throne.

Thursday, September 28th

Antoran High Command - Heroic Antorus, the Burning Throne
13:00 PDT (16:00 EDT, 22:00 CEST)

Portal Keeper Hasabel - Heroic Antorus, the Burning Throne
14:00 PDT (17:00 EDT, 23:00 CEST)

Eonar the Life-Binder - Heroic Antorus, the Burning Throne
15:00 PDT (18:00 EDT, 0:00 CEST)

Friday, September 29th

Imonar the Soulhunter - Heroic Antorus, the Burning Throne
13:00 PDT (16:00 EDT, 22:00 CEST)

Kin'garoth - Heroic Antorus, the Burning Throne
14:00 PDT (17:00 EDT, 23:00 CEST)

The Coven of Shivarra - Heroic Antorus, the Burning Throne
15:00 PDT (18:00 EDT, 0:00 CEST)

As always, this testing schedule is very fluid and subject to the realities of a PTR environment. We might have to change the time of a testing session, change the bosses being tested, or cancel a test entirely, due to bugs, server hardware issues, etc. Keep an eye on this forum for the latest information, and thank you in advance for testing and providing feedback.

Q: How do I get into the raid zone?

A: In Dalaran, Orgrimmar, or Stormwind, you may speak to Nexus-Lord Donjon Rade Sr. in order to teleport into the raid zone while it is open for testing. (The option to teleport into a zone will not be available when the zone is not open for testing.)

Q: What character should I use to test the raid?

A: Whichever you prefer. We will be scaling players' effective level to 110 for raid testing, and their item level to an appropriate threshold for the encounter(s) being tested.

Q: How long does testing last?

A: The primary purpose of testing is to give us the information we need to balance the encounters, evaluate how mechanics are playing out in practice, and identify bugs. Once we're satisfied that we've received that information for a given boss, we'll be shutting down testing. Usually this takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours, but there are no guarantees.

Are we going to have more untested hidden mythic phases for Antorius? Perhaps Aggramar will have a "Temple of Soakgeras was just a setback!" mythic hidden phase mechanic that requires you to soak 4x as many swirls as you did in the entirety of ToS.

And at the end you watch the cinematic...

Aggramar: "Blizzard! Is it... over?"

Blizzard: "At long last, no raid lasts forever, my son."

Ion Hassikostas: "Without his master's command, the restless raiders will become an even greater threat to this world. Control must be maintained. There must always be... a SWIRL SOAK!"

The cinematic slowly pans in, going through all the swirls of the universe. It's not as we thought. The void lords are actually just the tiny swirls of water as it drains out of your bathtubs. Every time you take a bath, a new void lord is born.

HAH! Joke is on the voidlords, I never bathe! No void lords in my house!

I wonder where the green fog is coming from though.

Even if all those people are standing in the swirl, there'll be a bit of lag, someone will be on the edge of a swirl and it'll bug out and wipe everyone anyway.

Should I level a rogue for this raid too?

Antorius has less soak mechanics compared to ToS, but there's no telling what will be the ideal class composition for the hardest cutting edge bosses; especially so because mythic bosses usually get rather significant tuning changes when the raid goes Live.

Let's face it, Rogue is the best alt to have as a raider. It's the safest thing that will almost always be required at some point. For 7 tiers of playing a Warrior DPS, I always had a Rogue geared. Only time it was a waste was on Nefarian when the DoTs were bugged and you wanted Druids.

Blizzard had to temporarily disable Communities due to some bugs, but the feature will be reactivated for testing on a few realms today.
If you're playing on one of the realms below and experience issues with the new feature submit your bug reports here. Don't forget to check out the official Communities preview!
      Blizzard (Source)
We’re planning to run an initial test of re-activating the Communities feature on a few realms this morning. Those realms are:
Black Dragonflight Gul’dan Skullcrusher Lightbringer Mal’ganis This test is scheduled to begin at roughly 9 AM Pacific time. If you’re on one of the above realms, please let us know if you experience any issues once Communities have been re-enabled. Thanks!

Players continue to discover hidden perks of the 8.0 pre-patch. Redditor fgmenth noticed that it's possible to reach Exalted reputation standing with the Gelkis and Magram Clan Centaurs in Desolace.

The cool thing is that you only need to complete a couple of quests to get to Exalted and both factions count toward the new 100 Exalted Reputations that rewards "the Esteemed" title and the Pureheart Courser mount.

      Quest Chain
Maraudine Prisoner Manifest is needed to start the quest chain and the item drops from Maraudine Maulers in Desolace. You need to complete some quests in order for it to drop, more details can be found here. Completing the final quest will give you enough reputation with both factions to instantly reach Exalted.

      Individual Quests
Behind Closed Doors Time For Change Into the Fray! Death to Agogridon Players that have completed the quest before the pre-patch are not able to reach Exalted, according to player reports. We're not really sure if the whole thing is a bug, but we'll let you know as soon as we know more!

Our Battle for Azeroth expansion hub is filled to brim with useful information to get you started with WoW's latest expansion!
Your source of the latest Battle for Azeroth news!
      Battle for Azeroth 8.0 Pre-Patch
The pre-patch is now live worldwide. An active subscription is only required to play the game up to Legion, as Blizzard removed the Battle Chest.
Official Patch 8.0.1 Patch Notes Class Guides for Patch 8.0.1 Patch 8.0.1 Survival Guide Battle for Azeroth Release Date
World of Warcraft's latest expansion will be released on August 14, 2018 in all regions at the same time. You can find out more information in this post.
      Pre-Purchase Battle for Azeroth
If you pre-purchase the expansion, you'll get a level 110 boost and gain early access to four Allied Races. The Digital Deluxe Edition comes with various goodies in all Blizzard games except Diablo. Collector's Edition from local retailers also comes with two novellas and you can read excerpts here. Character slots will be increased to 18 per server. Inactive accounts have been upgraded to Warlords of Draenor.
Game Version Pricing Buy Link Standard Edition $49.99 // 44.99 EUR EU / US Digital Deluxe Edition $69.99 // 59.99 EUR EU / US Pre-Purchase Deal [More Details]
New players that pre-order Battle for Azeroth will get Legion bundled with it for 49.99 USD // 44.99 EUR.
      Allied Races
Highmountain Tauren, Lightforged Draenei, Nightborne and Void Elves are four Allied Races that can be unlocked before Battle for Azeroth goes live. Pre-purchasing the expansion won't unlock them though. They're gated behind Exalted reputation standing with Legion factions and achievements.
If you boost an Allied Race character to level 110, you won't be able to receive Heritage Armor.
It's very likely that Blizzard removes the gating at some point before Battle for Azeroth launch. It would not make much sense having them gated behind old content.
      Allied Races Unlock Requirements
Allied Race Requirements Highmountain Tauren Ain't No Mountain High Enough + Exalted with Highmountain Tribe  Lightforged Draenei You Are Now Prepared! + Exalted with Army of the Light Nightborne Insurrection + Exalted with the Nightfallen Void Elf You Are Now Prepared! + Exalted with Argussian Reach Allied Races in Battle for Azeroth
Four Allied Races have been confirmed in Battle for Azeroth so far. The Alliance will be able to unlock Dark Iron Dwarves and Kul Tirans, whereas the Horde can convince Mag'har Orcs and Zandalari Trolls to join the faction. The aforementioned Allied Races will be gated behind Battle for Azeroth content and can't be unlocked before launch. We learned that Dark Iron Dwarves and Mag'har Orcs will be available first and both Allied Races are now available for playtesting on Beta and in order to unlock them, you must finish your faction's War Campaign in Battle for Azeroth. Blizzard confirmed that Blood Trolls will not be an Allied Race in the coming expansion.

      Who We Are
Tequila Sundown is a mythic raid team formed within the <Karma Horde> guild on US-Stormreaver. Lead by a husband/wife team with high-level raiding experience dating back to WotLK, we're a "positively determined" progression team that maintains a light-hearted atmosphere while tackling mythic difficulty content. We're mature adults with jobs and family seeking like-minded players who have a passion for the game but want to avoid the needless angst or drama that often gets associated with progression raiding. We log on to have fun - so come have some fun with us!

      A Team Within a Community
Our raid team is one of three within the larger guild of <Karma Horde>, which was formed back during WotLK. As such, the guild and Discord are very active and social. There are always people around online and in-game. The community atmosphere is welcoming and friendly to players of all levels. The guild enforces a Code of Conduct that has zero tolerance for hate/offensive speech.
We are always looking to add players with a friendly personality and lots of passion for the game. We want players who are going to log in on non-raid nights and be down for all the other things we're into: pushing mythic+, doing world quests, PVP shenanigans, achievement hunting, hyper-competitive fishing.. there's so much to do and so many ways to enjoy the game. This is our favorite hobby and we'd like to play with you if it is yours, too.

      Progression Goals
We are 7/11 Mythic Antorus, Heroic AOTC.
We strive for a fun environment that takes the challenges of mythic seriously and giving the content the respect it deserves. Our aim is, as all mythic teams, full clear of content but with always keeping the friendly spirit of camaraderie alive. Performance matters, but so does staying positive and finding the fun in the difficulty of a raid. We do not require mythic raid experience to join our team but we do expect mythic-level dedication and accountability from all of our raiders. You must be able to take constructive criticism and have ownership over your level of play, and be willing to put in the effort to be a contribution to the team.

      Raid Days/Times
      Our mandatory raids are:
      Tuesdays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Thursdays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Optional:
      Sundays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
Sundays are for farming the previous raid difficulty.

And we now have the very first official hotfixes of the pre-expansion patch! We have a bunch of class fixes for various abilities that were either bugged or incorrectly converted, fixes for legacy content and Tomb of Sargeras bosses, as well as other stat squish issues in the open world, and finally, a whole lot of quest items that can again be looted and other quest fixes.
