Help for understand the lack DPS

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I use to analyse logs after raids, and i wanted to help a drood from my guild.

His stuff is here: he is 915, 2 legs not bads.

https://worldofwarcraft.com/fr-fr/character/sargeras/apoukà

I used CheckMyWow and Wow Analyzer with his last perf in raids, that shows me two things: He is nearly perfect for keep his dots, he uses correctly his CDs and wastes 0 Astral-power.

-details here http://www.checkmywow.com/reports/2d1PrbLFhN7XxGW3/112027733/2?tab=casts on Goroth HM

-the Logs of the fight https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/2d1PrbLFhN7XxGW3#fight=2&type=summary&source=6

But even with this, he stays at 550k at the end. Yes, maybe the fights are too longs and yes he didn't prepot and pot (è_é) but it's still too low, didn't it?

I discussed with him about that and he have difficult to understand too.

Could you help us if you find something?

Is your druid new to the fight or something? I don't know how to put it, but there are multiple periods where he just does absolutely nothing. He casts nothing for 5+ seconds at some points. It seems like he doesn't know where to stand or how to position himself, so he has to spend far too long doing nothing, meaning his DPS suffers because of it. He has nearly 30% downtime on the fight -  that means he is doing nothing for nearly a third of the fight.

This is probably his problem.
