Environmental changes of the Silithus Wound in Patch 7.3.5. This article contains spoilers.

Patch 7.3.2

Gorribal is visible from afar to players that have defeated Argus the Unmaker. The aura and the ground are both red. This is a phased version of Silithus that should be visible to everyone in Patch 7.3.5.

Patch 7.3.5

In the latest PTR build, Silithus has been updated. Chunks of Azerite are now emerging from the ground and the wound seems to be healing. The tint went from red to orange and the aura emanating from Gorribal is now blue. The question is how will we heal the wound? I assume we will sacrifice our Artifact weapons to do so. Battle for Azeroth goes back to standard weapon drops.

Azerite is the equivalent of Artifact Power in Battle for Azeroth. It will be used to empower Azerite armor.

I do hope they make it more interesting than just saying "give your artifact weapons away and you heal the wound for good". It would be much nicer if they build off of it, to say our world is still dying in some way, and have that build into a story that involves the old gods taking advantage of a weakened Azeroth. That would be very interesting. I really hope they do something like that.

I still cant believe after a whole expansion of hard work and AP farming to get thos dam weapons powered up and awsome we are going to just plain lose them in the next one, like way to make the whole artifact system a waste of time and worthless, Makes me and possibly others not even wanna bother with maxing them out anymore knowing there just going to lose them and all that effort spent.

We still have several months left of Antorus. Progression is still worthwhile for the crucible. Otherwise don't bother about AP.

The same thing has happened every single expansion. Why people still get upset after 12 years is strange.

i'm kind of hoping that somehow that sword ends up being the final raid of BfA, like its actually a spaceship or a prison or something, considering sargeras's mission it's unlikely but would be cool.

Also from the screenshots anyone else notice that the center of the sword is no longer red and full of energy? Maybe we somehow turn it off or that energy was some kind of poison, where it doesn't matter that the wound is closed the infection is already there.

They did tell us back in the first BlizzCon after Legion's announcement, that Artifacts will not carry over to the next expansion. They are a Legion-only thing. So, we have known that we would be getting rid of our artifacts since before Legion launched.

Its the exact same thing with the leg cloak from MoP, or the leg ring for WoD. Ok we just "lose" our weapons, but that's better than just throwing them in the trash for a blue item from a 110 quest next xpac imo, at least they have a final use.

hmm sorry I guess I missed them saying that, it was my understanding that they were going to keep being improved and become a permanent thing for all future expansions.

We're previewing Gargan mounts coming in the Shadowlands expansion.
Shadowlands Alpha game files contain two types of Gargan mounts. The first version is without armor, whereas the second one has armor and looks like an upgrade of the first one. We have no clue where to get these mounts right now, as no mount sources have been added yet on Alpha. The Gargan mounts come in four tints: black, purple, red, and white.

The unusual raid compositions are hardly surprising this late in the expansion cycle, and we're looking at the Fire Mage raid that burned Dresta'gath in 22 seconds in more detail.
Method cleared Heroic Ny'alotha with 29 Mages and it took them 87 minutes to kill all bosses including N'Zoth. It's worth noting that they also brought a Demon Hunter for Chaos Brand that increases magic damage taken by 5%. The raid was lead by Scripe.
      Logs
The raid group was super quick to blast through Ny'alotha. They managed to defeat 5 bosses in under a minute. The longest fight was N'Zoth and it took them a little over 6 minutes to kill him. After that, they decided to kill Wrathion again on Normal difficulty. Full logs are available here.

Next, we're looking at all boss encounters in more detail, with VOD always starting at the beginning of the fights.

      Wrathion Kill
Wrathion died in just 31 seconds, but the raid experienced lags during the encounter, possibly because of all the Pyroblasts hitting the boss.
      Wrathion Logs

      Maut Kill
It took the group 37 seconds to burn down Maut with continued lags throughout the encounter.
      Maut Logs

      Prophet Skitra Kill
The lags have finally stopped with Prophet Skitra and the boss was defeated in 1 minute and 6 seconds.
      Prophet Skitra Logs

      Dark Inquisitor Xanesh Kill
      Xanesh took almost two minutes.
      Dark Inquisitor Xanesh Logs

      Vexiona Kill
The raid killed Vexiona in under 1 minute.
      Vexiona Logs

      The Hivemind Kill
Tek'ris and Ka'zir were defeated in 42 seconds.
      The Hivemind Logs

      Ra-den Kill
Ra-den was defeated in 1 minute and 26 seconds.
      Ra-den Logs
      Shad'har Kill
Shad'har caused some health drops, as the swirlies on the ground that you need to look out for were not visible through all the Pyroblasts. The boss was killed in 1 minute and 32 seconds.
      Shad'har Logs
      Dresta'gath
The raid zerged Dresta'gath in under 22 seconds. This is the video we posted yesterday.
      Dresta'gath Logs

      Il'gynoth Kill
With two dead raid members, Il'gynoth died in 2 minutes and 47 seconds.
      Il'gynoth Logs

      Carapace of N'Zoth Kill
Next, they went to deal with Carapace of N'Zoth, and the boss took 3 minutes and 35 seconds with all its phases.
      Carapace Logs

      N'Zoth Kill
The strategy for N'Zoth was to have the Demon Hunter and 9 other Mages (Groups 1&2) go in first while the remaining 20 Mages nuked the Psychus. Other groups went in without a tank. The final boss took 6 minutes and 8 seconds.
      N'Zoth Logs
      Wrathion (Normal) Kill
Finally, the group switched to Normal difficulty and defeated Wrathion again, but with style, as this time, there were no lags. Oddly enough, Normal Wrathion lasted 3 seconds longer than the Heroic version.

WoWToken.info, a site used for tracking WoW Token prices across all regions since April 2015, today announced they are shutting down.
Placeholder for tweet 1265771780553216000 The closure is completely voluntary, as traffic and revenue went significantly down while prices remained quite stable. The creator of WoWToken.info recommends players using different sites that serve the same purpose, but are still working, like WoWTokenPrices.com.

DesMephisto is back (or, more accurately, he never left, as he constantly strives to improve his leveling speeds), and he's gotten his speed record for 10-50 Shadowlands leveling significantly down from his last attempt! 3 hours and 56 minutes (or 3 h 37 min, if you remove the "screwing around" parts) is all it took to get to the equivalent of today's level 120, using Chromie time in Warlords of Draenor, beating the previous best we reported by over an hour and a half.

Now, it's important to mention that Blizzard have stated in interviews that the current XP rates and leveling speeds on Alpha aren't final and are very rough at the moment, but it's till great to see players going for these speed records nonetheless.
And here's the last minute or so of the leveling process, and you can check out the whole thing below as well:

You can also check out our recent interview with the man himself, where he goes into all the many recent achievements he's had, from the 46 max level warriors, to the speed leveling, Autism charity, Guinness World Record and more.

Method ran Ny'alotha on Heroic difficulty with a raid comprised of 29 Mages and one Demon Hunter, and while they downed all the bosses including N'Zoth, the clear highlight is Dresta'gath that has been defeated in just 22 seconds.
You can watch the Pyroblast shower and Dresta'gath's decreasing health bar in the following video:
