An early look at various Highmountain Tauren Druid forms.

Earlier today, we looked at racial mounts for Allied Races in Battle for Azeroth.

This raises a question from me. Does anybody know if druids who completed the legion order hall quests will be able to keep the lunarwing flight form? I've grown to like it over the expansion and would love to carry it over.

Yes! All class mounts obtained in Legion, at least to my knowledge will stay with you. They are not tied to artifacts or anything, just the character. I assume you'll also be able to go back and get them in later expansions.

Class mounts are class-wide, the only thing is that new druids need to talk to a certain NPC in Dreamgrove to activate the lunarwing form before they can use it. Other classes can just use the mount right off the mount journal as soon as they learn riding at lv 20.

What about Moonkin Form?

Wouldn't be surprised if they stayed the same lol. All races already have the same moonkin form :p

I wish they would do something with the Moonkin form although I guess there is not much you can do with that form other than adding adornments and the like.

Those antlered cats are kind of cute, the flight form looks like coming straight out of a totem pole :-) I am really curious if the Zandalari will be able to druids and I would perish in eternal bliss if they were given dinosaur forms.

Except for Tauren. I really don't understand why Blizzard doesn't give each Druid race a different Moonkin Form.

You're right, didn't know that. But still, sounds like Trolls had that horned Moonkin model too for a while as a "placeholder" until they just said "screw it, give them the same model as Alliance" so I wouldn't hold my breath. :s

They do all have different colors, still.

But for Moonkin mains, that still feels lackluster. In my opinion the only race that should use the default Moonkin model is Night Elf; every other race should have a more tailored model similarly to Tauren, with at least a different horn/antler design.

Yeah, I can't disagree with that. At the very least I could have a Gilneas emblem on my back like Swift flight form haha

There's a new PTR build up, bringing with it Ulduar Timewalking and an even larger focus on the new 1-100 level scaling mechanics. Blizzard are asking for help in testing the questlines in some specific zones as well, so get on there and test!
      Build 25700 (source)
This week, we’ve implemented a new build that primarily brings bugfixes to the PTR. Our biggest focus for testing remains the new level 1-100 zone and dungeon scaling we’re introducing with 7.3.5. This is an extensive change to how loot, quests, and creatures work in the open world, so we continue to look for as much feedback as we can get about how things are working out.
Thank you so much for all of the feedback you’ve provided so far on leveling in Azeroth. We hope you keep the feedback coming, and we’d like to ask you to especially focus some of your testing on the questlines in these specific zones:
       Blade's Edge Mountains
       Duskwood
       Hellfire Peninsula
       Icecrown
       Kun-Lai Summit
       Nagrand
       Storm Peaks
       Terokkar Forest
       Vashj'ir
       Wetlands
Feedback on the difficulty, pacing, and most importantly, any bugs you might find while completing quests in the above zones would be most helpful. Please post your level scaling feedback here.
We now have Ulduar Timewalking available for testing, and it should be available for the next four days or so. Please post Ulduar Timewalking feedback here.
Also, a heads up—We’re planning a scheduled playtest of the new Seething Shore PvP Battleground. Get ready to Play With The Blues on the PTR on Tuesday, December 19 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. PST. The Seething Shore is a 10v10 race to gather Azerite on an island near Silithus, and we hope you’ll be able to join us there and test it thoroughly on Tuesday.
As always, thank you very much for participating in the PTR!
