Antorus M Race Day 3: Exorsus 10/11, Coven Video

Recommended Posts

Exorsus and Limit catch up after an unfortunate hotfix, Limit's Coven of Shivarra WF video surfaces and Asia guilds join the top 5 in today's Antorus action.

Update: Limit also downed Aggramar, around an hour and a half after this post was made. They are now 10/11, World Third and on to Argus!

___________________________________________________________

Day 3 actually had quite a bit of action going on, as Exorsus finally defeated Aggramar and caught up to Method on 10/11 and headed to Argus, also sharing what exactly happened to make them lose pace with the current leader:

Today also saw Asia guilds catch up in a big way, with Alpha and Style War coming into 4th and 5th place overall with their Coven of Shivarra kills, which immediately prompted Limit to post their World first video, as per the tradition of video releases after at least 5 guilds down a boss.

That wasn't it for the Coven's woes for the day though, as ScrubBusters soon got them down as well, claiming the EU 3rd, World 6th, soon followed by Easy and Big Dumb Guild, coming in with the US/OC 2nd and 3rd. In the end we have Method and Exorsus alone on 10/11, with Argus living to see another day at least, a big pack of six following them and progressing on Aggramar, another pack of seven on 8/11 (Bleached Bones, Pieces, Memento, Nova, Wait or It, Alacrity and vodkaz, trying to get the Coven down fast now that the video is out and three guilds on 7/11, progressing on Varimathras (Libertad, Future, Midwinter). 22 guilds are on 6/11, a whopping 80 on 5/11, 78 on 4/11, 142 on 3/11, then a giant ramp up for the first 2 bosses - 411 guilds on 2/11 and 683 guilds with just Garothi Worldbreaker down. This isn't counting the Chinese guilds, aside from the top few, and all stats are courtesy of raider.io.

You can always follow the race live over at Method.gg, to see just how long Argus gets to remain the Unmaker.

I wonder what fixes were made to set Exorsus back. It is usually an ability that can be dealt with in an unintended way that suddenly doesn't work anymore; like an immunity absorbing it.

Too bad the devs weren't manly enough to communicate with their customers.

I can see it coming: a lot of stealth buffs to the bosses just to make this raid ''more difficult''.

Stealth buffs are fun...soooo fun!

What was the hotfix about? If they went from 13% to 80% it must have been something critical.

Why would they buff bosses after they had already been killed?

Perhaps even before they're killed, too. Something tells me they didn't just buff Aggramar, but Argus as well, just to make sure he doesnt seem like a joke compared to the rest of the raid. I guess it will be a few days before Argus is down.

Executive Producer Holly Longdale teased some upcoming experimental PvE-focused content that Blizzard will soon reveal to the community.
It appears that Plunderstorm isn't the only new mode Blizzard plans to add to WoW this year.
Holly Longdale today teased an upcoming PvE-oriented event that will soon be revealed to us. Holly might be talking about the "Timerunning Pandamonium," expected in Patch 10.2.7.

      Greetings Citizens of Azeroth,
It’s been great seeing so many players taking the plunge into Plunderstorm and we’ve loved seeing all of the stories and feedback as this experimental event evolves. It will be exciting to see some of the community content creators going head-to-head as duos during the Plunderstorm Creator Royale on March 30!  This isn’t the end of the things we want to try in World of Warcraft, however, and we have more in store we can’t wait to show you.
Dragonflight Season 4 is in route as testing begins on the PTR and we’ll have more news to share soon™ on the next experiment we have up our sleeves. We hope those of you who are looking for PvE focused content will enjoy what we’re planning, all while we continue to press forward on development of our next expansion for World of Warcraft— The War Within.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many things the team has been hard at work on.
With gratitude and excitement for what we’ll do together next,
      Holly Longdale

Dragonflight Season 4 adds a new world quest for Spark of Awakening.
To get your Spark of Awakening, you must complete a different quest every week.
The weekly quest is available from Therazal in central Valdrakken. There are 3 options, but only one is active every week, similar to how Awakened raids rotate.

      Dragon Isles Quest
Participate in a Community Feast Participate in a Hunt Lay siege to Dragonbane Keep Zaralek Cavern Quest
Protect the Researchers Under Fire Loot a Secured Shipment (Suffusion Camp) Complete a Time Rift Amirdrassil Quest
Earn 50 Bloom during the Superbloom Complete a Superbloom Plant 3 Dreamseeds Quest Rewards
Completing any of the 3 quests above grants the Season 4 spark fragment (Splintered Spark of Awakening) via Weekly Awakened Activity and a Cache of Awakened Storms.
You will need two Splintered Spark of Awakening and 250 Flightstones to create one Spark of Awakening.
