Method's Argus Mythic World First Kill Video

Recommended Posts

903pQEe.png

With three guilds having downed the endboss, it's time for Method's video! A very impressive performance that brought them the gold in the Antorus progress race, a full day before Exorsus. Some might say that the boss was somewhat easy compared to previous endbosses and that perhaps end of expansion encounters should be even more difficult than other raid endbosses, but looking at the video you can see just how much effort and skill was required to pull the kill off, not to mention the hours, days and weeks of dedication it took to have all those characters prepared.

With the footage out you can bet there will be quite a bit more kills coming soon and the Antorus race will be coming to an end, after Memento's World 3rd earlier today. Here's Method's full roster on the kill as well:

So impressive. I think this is a much better fight than KJ. Just so well designed. And Method just did such a good job.

Also huge props to that Brewmaster Monk for staying alive long enough to herald a comeback! Gotta love good tanks!

Well done! And I have to agree that the overall desing of that fight is much more appealing than the one against Kil'jaeden. I really like the visual side and desing of the room and the abilities and Argus himself.

Good job, although we all knew the outcome of that race :P
Does anyone know what's the  addon/weakaura they use for tracking who has soulbomb and soulbursts and their defensives?

I just made an account to answer the guys question when they kill boss. "How is it so easy?" Let me answer that quickly by saying please do this fight without all your addons that does all the job for you. Would like to see you do this fight without all those cheats.

No one could defeat modern WoW bosses without addons. They are designed with addon use in mind.

I agree, many boss abilities demand proactivity rather than reactivity. You would need to have an almost impeccable internal timer to pull that off without addons. Those bosses still need you to be very alert and precise with your positioning and use of cooldowns and so on.

Dude, you call 320 pulls 'easy'? Last time I checked that's a lot of wipes. ;)

And hey, that's not 320 pulls, that's 320 Method pulls.

Cheats? You do realise Blizzard encourage 3rd party addons right? Even in Vanilla people used addons, it's nothing new to the game.

man i feel all the jealousy here hohohoho ^^ if you really think that addons do the job for us raiders and we're cheating, please link your armory with at least atbt Hc cleaned without any addons of course, to show us what a "true no cheat skill" is :D

joking aside, i'd be really interested to know what  is the weak aura / addon they use to announce the buff stats in p1 and the bombs too, as Christopher asks too ^^

If I had to guess it's a custom WeakAura that Sco or one of the Method members made and exported to all the raiders.

You're probably the same type of person to say Vanilla raids were harder LUL.

But they were... They were insanely tuned because Blizzard had never done raids before and was doing them for the first time. Now, in Legion, they've had the experience and know how to make and tune raids.

Sinrunner Reins is a new and probably secret mount that you can obtain in Shadowlands.
We currently do not know what happened to good Old Blanchy after it died back in Westfall, but the mount has a Venthyr hue to it, so we speculate that its soul ended up in Revendreth for some reason.
Sinrunner Reins teaches you Sinrunner Blanchy, so we know for sure it is the same horse we previously encoutered, but what sins did Blanchy commit remains to be seen.
Other datamined spells and items tied to the mount and the NPC that you need to interact with to get it are:
Blanket for Blanchy (DNT) requires Comfortable Saddle Blanket "A soft and comfortable blanket for regulating body temperature." Blanchy Horseshoes (DNT) > Requires 4 Sturdy Horseshoes "Protective footwear for horse-like creatures." Groomed Blanchy (DNT) > Requires Grooming Brush "A circular motion with the stiff bristled brush removes and soothes itches." Watered Blanchy (DNT) > Requires Bucket of Clean Water "Guaranteed to quench the greatest thirst." Apples for Blanchy (DNT) indicates that you will need three Dredhollow Apple to create Sinrunner Reins, which seems to be the final step in getting the mount.
Based on the number of items you must acquire, we think the mount will be tied to some secret, where you must brush the horse, provide it with a blanket, clean water, and so on.
Here's how the mount looks like in the game.

Some rumors were circulating about the removal of Herald of the Titans in Shadowlands after the level squish. Luckily, we're able to confirm the achievement is there, but the requirements were squished down too.
If you want to get the Herald of Titans achievement in Shadowlands before the squish on live servers, you must be at level 80 and have nobody in the raid wear items higher than item level 100. With the Shadowlands level squish, you will need to defeat Algalon at level 30 wearing items no higher than item level 35.
Herald of the Titans in Visions of N'Zoth Herald of the Titans in the Shadowlands Pre-Patch Herald of the Titans - Defeat Algalon the Observer at level 80 without anyone in the raid wearing items higher than Item Level 100. Herald of the Titans - Defeat Algalon the Observer at level 30 without anyone in the raid wearing items higher than Item Level 35.

Niya, one of the Soulbinds available to members of the Night Fae Covenant, comes with an interesting Soulbind trait that mimics the Shadowmeld Night Elf racial.
If you decide to join the Night Fae Covenant, you will gain access to the Soulshape Signature Ability, which increases your Movement Speed by 50% and teleports you 15 yards forward on a short cooldown.
Niya, one of the Night Fae Soulbinds, comes with the Sylvari Mantle that conceals you when Soulshape ends until you move, so it acts pretty much like the Shadowmeld, the Night Elf racial.
Other Soulbind traits that you can get through Niya include:
Row 1: Stay on the Move (on the same row with Sylvari Mantle) Row 4: Niya's Tools: Burrs // Niya's Tools: Poison // Niya's Tools: Herbs Row 7: Care Package // Swift Patrol Row 8: Grove Invigoration Note that you can only pick one Soulbind trait per row.
      Here's Niya's full Soulbind Path.
