I just feel like Silithid should not be hunter pets. They are not beasts, they are semi-sentient insect. It is the same like having Nerubians or Mantid as pets. Just doesn't feel right.

Many of the Silithid bugs and insects are merely drones in a hive directed by a central intelligence, only more of the older and more mature or evolved ones become or ARE already sapient. I consider spirit beasts and many other beasts in the game such as monkeys, gorillas, raptors and so on to be much more social, intelligent and potentially even self aware beings who choose to be your companion more than being tamed. Many real life bugs and other invertebrates can be manipulated and even involuntarily controlled against their will by a vast variety of sources, and I suspect that more than a few of the species belonging to the Silithid hives (and others like it) were originally independent from it before C'Thun and the Ahn'Qiraj had their way, particularly as many of the non-talking bugs and insects we see in the game are used as first lines of defence or workhorses.

Hey if anyone wants to throw me one of those void warpstalkers...

Really hoping they address that whole stable slot issue that "they're totally working on we swear"

They seriously need to do something about. Either give more slots or just have infinite slots, cuz there are so many pets out there

Some of these have already been available for a long time (Such as the spiders in tbc/wotlk and silithids back when you needed an exotic pet taming talent (Not sure if that's still there))

Some of these are just the starting pets given automatically to a fresh Hunter of the appropriate race and aren't all meant to be exclusive I guess. Silithids are still classed as an Exotic family despite essentially having virtually no reason to take them utility wise over other Exotics or even standard tames besides the same snare available to Crocolisks, but it's not known if the new Silithid warrior model will replace the old models like bears have been for example, so it may still be worth looking into taming an old look pet for the sake of posterity, but I think at this point we'll be looking at a collection tab for Hunters rather than stables lol.

Ny'alotha opened today and we have two cinematics. The first one plays just before the penultimate boss and we see Wrathion and N'Zoth. The second one involves your character and the Kamehameha-esque destruction of N'Zoth.
      Wrathion & N'Zoth Cinematic
After the fight against Xanesh, Azshara reveals her plans and tells us how she wanted to stab N'Zoth with Xal'atath, Blade of the Black Empire, but ultimately, she gives the blade to us and Wrathion uses it to stab the God of the Deep and summon Carapace of N'Zoth.
      Raid Finale Cutscene
Battle for Azeroth ends with a short cutscene and a 28 second-long cinematic where your character destroys N'Zoth thanks to the help of Heart of Azeroth.

Blizzard explained why Darkshore isn't available on Heroic difficulty today. The option to queue for it will become available the next time a certain faction attacks the zone in a given region in Season 4.
Heroic Darkshore Warfront offers item level 460 rewards and you will be able to purchase the Sandy Nightsaber from Warfront quartermasters after you complete it at least once. You can read more about what to expect in Visions of N'Zoth Season 4 in our overview.

The option to queue for Heroic Battle of Darkshore will become available when the next time a certain faction commences an assault on Darkshore in a given region. Regions that are already partway through a Battle of Darkshore attack cycle will be able to access Heroic difficulty the next time Darkshore comes under attack in Season 4.

Most of the 8.3 content will be enabled after maintenance and here's a rundown of what to expect today.
      January 21 (Season 4 Start)
Ny'alotha, the Waking City raid opens on Normal and Heroic difficulties; The Darkshore Warfront will be available on Heroic difficulty and offer item level 460 rewards the next time a faction commences an assault on Darskhore in a given region; Three new World Bosses will begin to spawn; Item levels will increase by 30 for seasonal activities that include dungeons, PvP, World Quests; Heroic and Mythic dungeon difficulty will increase; Gear from 8.3 sources can now be corrupted by N'Zoth; Gear from Azshara's Eternal Palace has a chance to Warforge/Titanforge up to item level 455, but those items cannot be corrupted; You can purchase new items for Titan Residuum from Thaumaturge Vashreen; A Mythic +10 weekly chest awards 1,700 Titan Residuum, each additional level gives you 90 more Titan Residuum. Blizzard (Source)
With scheduled maintenance on January 21:
The new Ny’alotha raid opens for Normal and Heroic difficulties. Season 4 begins. Item levels increase by 30 for rewards from seasonal activities (dungeons, PvP, World Quests), and can now be corrupted by N’Zoth. Mythic Keystones will downgrade by 4 levels. Dungeon difficulty is increased for Heroic and Mythic difficulties. During this week, end-of-run rewards from Mythic Keystone dungeons and Rated PvP are capped at item level 445 (for Mythic +6 or PvP Rank 2). Mythic Keystone and PvP chests that are opened this week reflect Season 3 rewards earned the prior week, and cannot be Corrupted, but may Warforge/Titanforge. Item level improvements for weekly rewards now extend to Mythic +15, which awards an item level 475 piece of gear in the weekly chest to be opened on January 28 or later. The Darkshore Warfront now has a Heroic difficulty, with item level 460 gear rewards. Please note: Heroic difficulty will become available in the first Warfront that begins in each region after the Season 4 transition in that region. Any items not updated for Season 4 (for example, items from The Eternal Palace or Heroic difficulty Arathi Warfront) can continue to Warforge/Titanforge up to item level 455, but cannot be Corrupted. Titan Residuum is again available. All items that can be purchased with Titan Residuum, including new Season 4 items, have had their costs adjusted. A Mythic +10 weekly chest will award 1700 Titan Residuum, with each additional level awarding 90 more Titan Residuum. For example, a Mythic + 15 will award 2150 Titan Residuum. Specific item level 475 tokens cost 20,000 Titan Residuum. Random item level 475 tokens cost 4750 Titan Residuum.

Over the weekend we found out that the War Mode bonus for 8.3 daily quest has been disabled since Thursday the 16th due to a separate issue that had to be fixed, and today it seems that has been resolved as the bonus should be working normally - however the display for it will still show the non-bonus amounts.
Check out our PvP class guides for that little extra War Mode power!
      War Mode Bonus Fix (source)
With a fix this morning, we believe that the War Mode bonus is now being granted.
Unfortunately, the UI still doesn’t reflect that properly. We’re working on it and hope to have the UI displaying the bonus soon.
Here's the original post from Sunday:
      War Mode Bonus (source)
We’d like to confirm that, yes, the expected War Mode bonus for Visions of N’Zoth Daily Quests has been disabled since Thursday.
This was necessary for our team to work to quickly fix a different issue. Our top priority right now is addressing these concerns, and we expect to restore all intended functionality in the coming days.
War Mode and the bonuses granted by War Mode in all other content are unaffected.
Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.
