I just feel like Silithid should not be hunter pets. They are not beasts, they are semi-sentient insect. It is the same like having Nerubians or Mantid as pets. Just doesn't feel right.

Many of the Silithid bugs and insects are merely drones in a hive directed by a central intelligence, only more of the older and more mature or evolved ones become or ARE already sapient. I consider spirit beasts and many other beasts in the game such as monkeys, gorillas, raptors and so on to be much more social, intelligent and potentially even self aware beings who choose to be your companion more than being tamed. Many real life bugs and other invertebrates can be manipulated and even involuntarily controlled against their will by a vast variety of sources, and I suspect that more than a few of the species belonging to the Silithid hives (and others like it) were originally independent from it before C'Thun and the Ahn'Qiraj had their way, particularly as many of the non-talking bugs and insects we see in the game are used as first lines of defence or workhorses.

Hey if anyone wants to throw me one of those void warpstalkers...

Really hoping they address that whole stable slot issue that "they're totally working on we swear"

They seriously need to do something about. Either give more slots or just have infinite slots, cuz there are so many pets out there

Kinda sad that the one on Argus isn't tameable

Some of these have already been available for a long time (Such as the spiders in tbc/wotlk and silithids back when you needed an exotic pet taming talent (Not sure if that's still there))

Some of these are just the starting pets given automatically to a fresh Hunter of the appropriate race and aren't all meant to be exclusive I guess. Silithids are still classed as an Exotic family despite essentially having virtually no reason to take them utility wise over other Exotics or even standard tames besides the same snare available to Crocolisks, but it's not known if the new Silithid warrior model will replace the old models like bears have been for example, so it may still be worth looking into taming an old look pet for the sake of posterity, but I think at this point we'll be looking at a collection tab for Hunters rather than stables lol.

Darkmoon Faire is back for one week for the first time since Shadowlands launched!
You can increase your XP and Reputation gains by 10% during the event by riding the carousel, and you will get the same bonus from Darkmoon Top Hat.
WHEE! - Increases Experience and Reputation gains by 10% for 1 hour. Darkmoon Faire also increases Reputation gains, so it's a good time to grind all the new Shadowlands reputations to Exalted!
      What's New in Shadowlands?
You can buy two new recipes in Patch 9.0.2.
Recipe: Extra Lemony Herb Filet can be purchased for 2 Darkmoon Daggermaw.  Recipe: Extra Fancy Darkmoon Feast can be purchased for 10 Darkmoon Daggermaw.  Check out our Darkmoon Faire guide for more information about the event!

We've all been gathering up the anima around the Shadowlands in pretty small increments (some as small as 5) but we also use it pretty regularly, so we probably won't get to see what a "full" tank would look like in our Covenant halls. Luckily for us Automaton17 saved up quite a bit of anima and we do get to see what the Venthyr reservoir looks like when full (although it clearly can take a lot more, with the cap at 35K):
Now the question is if that's the final version of fullness for the reservoir or if there are additional visuals to be had on the road to 35K! It would also be interesting to see this for the other Covenants as well, so hopefully we can dig that up soon!

It seems that social distancing is now a thing in Alterac Valley, as more and more players are completing battleground objectives without engaging in PvP.
The first Alterac Valley end-screen comes from German servers, where the highest-ranked person scored 2 kills.

The same thing happened today with another battlegroup. The highest-ranked Hunter got an incredible 4 kills!

Have you experienced this phenomenon yourself?

Many of us have been struggling with the weekly Soul Ash adventure in the command table, as it's a very difficult one, but not impossible as it seems. Part of the reason the adventure is so hard for some is that it's level seems to be random. In the video below you can see it's level 18, but I and many others have gotten it at level 22. Its level doesn't seem to have any relation to your companion levels either, as the level 18 mission below was completed with two level 22 and two level 15 companions. Both players that we've seen complete the mission were Necrolords, and we do know there are definitely some Covenant advantages to the command table.
In any case, let's take a look at quietly41's run so we can get some hope we'll get it done some day!
Quietly41 isn't the only one to finish it, either, as Asulgarth gives us some more in-depth details:

We've seen all the crazy 1-shots players have been doing in the tower of the damned. We've seen the naked boss solos and the Voidwalker solos. But now it's time for the rats to have their day.
Delivastus and company decided that just killing the Warden of Souls wasn't quite enough and they wanted to humiliate him. So how DO you actually kill a boss with Mawrats? Well, we've all see the exploding Mawrat anima power, Bloating Fodder, but how do you get enough of them to the final boss? Well, turns out all you need is a mage and Alluring Cheese, which is very appropriately named. (If you're the impatient type, skip to 2:25 for instant action.)
If only they had 1 more rat, it could have been a 1-shot! But the message is, rats > skeletal dog it seems. I'm really loving these Torghast shenanigans and can't wait for the new wings, floors and even seasonal mechanics to arrive!
