Fire DPS too low for ilvl

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

My parses have been weak and recently I’ve been struggling keeping up a good dps in heroic ABT. Please let me know what I can be doing to improve, my sims are much higher than my actual dps:

Thanks in advance, I appreciate it. I just really want to improve my play.

I took your most recent Garothi kill since this is a bit late to reply to the post (25th Jan kill), but here's some things to work on:

  • You missed a Combustion cast. This is a pretty sizeable DPS loss.
  • Make sure you are preparing for your Combustion casts. You entered one of your Combust phases with a really low set of Phoenix and FB charges, which then led to a really weak Combustion phase.
  • Make sure you're not wasting FB and Phoenix, you used both multiple times with no proc and then lost the Heating Up! proc, with no crit to follow up the Phoenix/FB use.

This would likely get your DPS back up from the green parses into purple again.
