enhance New enhancement need help!

Hello!

 

I was recently asked to start playing enhance for my guild. So nothing else to do than grabbing the good ol' hammers and start swinging. I've read the guides here on IV, watched a few videos on Youtube and been on and off on the enhance discord.  I thought I got the hang of it, felt pretty comfortabel doing a few bosses but when I skimmed through  our loggs from a few of the bosses I noticed that my preformance is more or less  garbage.

I decided to test my luck here. I was hoping that someone could analyze my loggs and give me a few pointers on what and what not to do.

I would also appreciate  a few tips and trix about how to start analyzing my preformance myself so I dont have to turn back here as soon as the RNG gods are not with me.

A great tool to use is WoWAnalyzer - it's not actively maintained for Enh (will receive updates in future), but it still gives some information on what you could improve. Here's a link to your report:

Improving uptime on buffs to as close to 100% as possible and 50% on your debuff Earthen Spike.

Improve your gear. 4 piece t21. Better traits on relics and try to improve your haste/mastery.

Stop using frostbrand unless you're running the Hailstorm talent and Akainus and eye of twisting neather legendary combo. And you shouldn't run those since you have smoldering heart which is superior. So just stop using frostbrand and you'll have more maelstrom to dump into lava lash.

Use crash lightning right after Feral spirit. And try to not go above 75-80 maelstrom.

It's perfect for fixing the basic problems (which there do seem to be in your logs) of uptimes, spell usage, cooldown usage. Once you can "tick off" the problems from WA, you might still need improvements to fix the issues in your logs, since the Enhance module isn't perfect. Once you've fixed what's there, post new logs and we can work on any other problems.

One major thing I realized, you waste a ton of maelstrom, I mean you are consistently letting yourself get to like 130-150 Maelstrom. if you need to dump some, just lava lash.  Also get the 4 piece and your gucci.
