wow Hyena Mounts in Battle for Azeroth

A preview of new hyena mounts in Battle for Azeroth.

Our preview of mounts in Battle for Azeroth continues with hyenas. The new expansion adds really interesting mounts to the game. So far, we looked at frogs, vultures, proto-drakes and basilisks. Four tints of the hyena mounts are currently available in the Alpha, with no source indicated yet.

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the movement animation, similar to all of those Acid-DemonDog mounts from argus.. Overall the model is pretty nice though!

I like them, and I hope hyenas as hunter pets get similar updates, but the clipping and animations.. eeeh, I want to like it, but just quite can't see myself using them.

I feel like they need to stop giving creatures these tiny midsections. It just doesn't work, look how the feet all just go through eachother when they run.

When are they gonna make some animations so your toon isn't glued to the saddle and rocking back and forth. At the very least, they could try to make the saddles stationary during running and flying animations so we don't look like we are on one of those playground metal spring rocking toys.

The midsection and hindquarter is so tiny it just kind of looks like a head on two legs. The hind legs go way too far under it's belly, if they fix that it'd actually look kind of like a Hyena and it would probably solve SOME the VERY bad clipping.
