Hmm, BfA version of Suramar rep?

We've had poop quests. We've had standing on grapes to make wine quests. BUT ARE YOU READY FOR STANDING ON POOP TO MAKE WINE QUESTS

I understand gear, mounts and other faction rewards requiring a certain reputation, but why this? It's not like I'm asking the dark iron dwarves to turn my existing character into one of them. Why do I need to be their friend? I want to be one of them.

I was hoping I could explore the new content as one of the new races, not having to grind on another character for goodness knows how long until I am allowed to start all over again with one of the new ones. The Highmountain tauren and all of those are sort of forgiveable, since players have had all of Legion to meet those requirements, but what about new players? They will have to start a level 1 character (with 8 races grayed out!), get it to top level, grind reputations like a machine, and only then can they play the game the way they want to.

I just hope that it will be similar to the Pearlfin Jinyu, where you gain exalted through just playing through the storyline in one zone, but it's doubtful. I just want to know why it's like this?!

You are asking the allied races to join your faction and it seems reasonable that you would have to take steps to show to them why it would be a good choice for them...hence the needed requirements which really aren't that onerous.

As for new players...why should they expect to have everything available to them? I sure wouldn't.

he achievements require one to complete a quest line. However, the quests to complete these achievements still remain unclear. It is possible that players could unlock them while leveling, or that the quest lines may unlock after the player reaches level 120.

I believe the War Campaign starts at 120 so they won't be attainable until then if that's the case.

It's like the Order Hall campaigns, there's a little bit unlocked while you're leveling, but the bulk of it happens at 120.  You also gain very little of the needed rep while leveling, so plan on several weeks after hitting max level before unlocking the new races.

The Legion Companion App will serve as the main World of Warcraft mobile application from July 11 and onwards to Battle for Azeroth.
After the retirement of the Remote Auction House, it is time to bid farewell to the WoW Mobile Armory App as well. Players will have a single mobile application, since the Legion Companion App will be converted into a new WoW Companion App, which will contain new features from Battle for Azeroth as well as favourite features from the original application (probably the guild chat).
We just hope this application maintains its light size, unlike the Hearthstone game app!
      Blizzard Entertainment
As of July 11, 2018, we will no longer be supporting the World of Warcraft Mobile Armory app. But this isn’t the end of the road, as we’re continuing to develop and improve our mobile offering for World of Warcraft.
As a part of our commitment to providing WoW players with a living, connected experience on multiple fronts, we are transitioning away from the current World of Warcraft Mobile Armory app and will be converting the Legion Companion App into a new WoW Companion App in the future. As part of that, we’ll be incorporating many of your favorite World of Warcraft Armory app features along with features for Battle for Azeroth into a new shared app for a more streamlined experience. Stay tuned for more information.

It's time to get creative! We're giving away 25 Battle for Azeroth Beta keys to those who come up with the most fun and unique WoW character name.
It does not matter whether you're creating a new character or not, we want to see fun World of Warcraft character names you can come up with down in the comments!
      🧐Rules (Let's keep it short and simple)🧐
Reply to this thread with the Character name of your choice and don't forget to include your Class/Race/Specialization if applicable.  Be creative and make us laugh! We're not interested in seeing names that can easily be found on Google's Page #1 search. Example entries: Oprahwindfury (Shaman), Restorafarian (Druid), DrShocktopus (Shaman), Retbull (Retribution Paladin - Tauren), Priestitute (Priest), etc. Check out our Giveaway Rules and Information for more details about giveaways in general. This thread will be automatically closed in 24 hours (June 23, 2018 at 6:30 PM CEST) and we'll be selecting winners based on our choice! Winners will be notified via PM. We are looking forward to reading your entries!
      🍀Good luck!🍀

Several redditors spotted a new entry in the beta/PTR event calendar, featuring the pre-expansion event. It's already started on the PTR and it's called the War of the Thorns, featuring conflict in Darkshore for control of Teldrassil. Now, we know how that particular "control" ends up, but hopefully the event itself won't be as fire-y!
Also, based on the length of the event, it seems most likely we'll be seeing it come up on live servers on or around July 17th, if we assume it will last until the expansion launch itself, so we have a little over three and a half weeks until we see the pre-expansion event and the pre-patch itself as well! It's a little unclear if the Battle for Lordaeron will be part of the pre-patch or will be available at launch, so the date might actually be a little earlier since it seems logical that the events won't overlap, as one is caused by the other. so another possible date would be July 10th.

Also, check out what you should do before the pre-patch goes live, as there are achievements to be had that will be removed.

A little bit before the end of Legion, it's time to determine once and for all who's the best Mythic+ team worldwide in the second installment of the Mythic Dungeon Invitational!
The action begins tomorrow at 09:00 am PDT and will continue on for the entire weekend. You can tune in on the official Warcraft Twitch channel to watch the final showdown between the eight finalists. The team compositions aren't known yet, so it's not sure if any changes have been made for the grand finals. Still, let's find out a bit more about them!
Representing China, we have Skyline D and Sun Sky, both of whom unfortunately couldn't fly to Columbus, Ohio, so they will be playing from their home country. Being the first region to start the Group Stage, China was the one to look for. Skyline D went undefeated with their 3-melee DPS composition and they displayed various tactics that were subsequently copied from teams from other regions. Sun Sky showed what a beast Arcane Mage is in Black Rook Hold, prompting Blizzard to finally hotfix the buff Mages could spellsteal in that dungeon.
In the Americas, we see crowd favourites and record setters Method NA, as well as Team Omegasniped. Even though they don't have their Demon Hunter tank Shakib, Method NA is still in it to win it. Earlier this year, Starym sat down with this all-star team in a two-part interview (Part 1 + Part 2)! Team Omegasniped also has some well known players, who are pretty versatile in the class they play with depending on the dungeon.
Europe is my region, so I am excited to see one of our two teams be victorious. Kjell's Angels, the only finalist team with a Balance Druid (Kjell), were victorious in the European Group Stage. Team PogChamp also shined through their regionals and they were subsequently picked up by Method. Method PogChamp is a team with popular streamers, two caster DPS and Drjay is ready to set things on fire!
Lastly, from the APAC region we have the defending champions from the previous MDI, Free Marsy. Even though they were considered an outsider last year, they finished victorious and they had a pretty convincing performance in the Group Stage. Unfortunately, for the Global finals they've had to sub their healer. The other APAC team is Gulch Trotters, who are also a force to be reckoned with.
The rules are slightly different from the Group Stage; we have covered them in this article. Essentially, we will see higher keys (23 to 25), affixes locked per map with Skittish making a return, greater variation of maps and an increase of the Artifact weapon's item level to 995. The rules for remakes, which plagued the Group Stage, are much clearer and stricter now.
      May the best team win!
