Hi Guys!

I currently am enjoying playing a resto shaman for raids. I was wondering if some of you don't mind sharing some resto shaman weak aura strings? I am terrible at making them from scratch and currently the ones on the web are either outdated or very terribly made. I would really like some  auras for totems cds , and healing cds, and also timers... Please HELP! Would truly appreciate it!

OK it might help if you specified what exactly you want to track. I have... well, it'd take me too long to count how many I of them I have. I use a pretty simple system to track cooldowns and important spells - I just use the icon of the spell, blown up large near the bottom-center of the screen. It works rather well.

If you're interested in them, I'll paste in some strings for the main cooldowns.

EDIT***

Removed the code since it was not working properly.  I will test it on another shaman when I get home today and repost assuming it works when imported.  They work fine on my shaman so Im guessing I screwed up the export in some way.

Stuff

All of these can be modified once you import them...hope it's a good place to start.

Hi ,

Thank you guys for responding so promptly.  Drafty, the first two give me a "deserializing" error. The third one worked fine. thank you smile.png

Stoove, I pretty much want WAs for my totems, a timer telling me their duration, and then a CD for when they are up. Their icons in UI are sooo small, its hard to keep track.

Also I want WAs for my Healing Rain that pops when its up and i can use again, as well as for Ascendance, Riptide, Elemental Mastery, Spirit Walker's Grace, and  my Elementals. Just simple Icons...nothing too fancy...but I always get the timers wrong.

Thanks again, guys.

Can we agree please to delete the code in quotes to avoid conversations getting too long. Thank you. Adjusted Amygdalla's previous post to reflect this.

I'll paste the WA's I use when I have time, hopefully this evening.

Hi Guys,

I really appreciate the help. I had a friend also help me with this in which he came up with an amazing set of weak auras. I hope this helps other people with no WA knowledge, like me! Feedback on them would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

      Hello everyone,
I want to ask for any tips on my logs, since I think I'm doing something wrong with my resto druid.
I have good gear (currently 958 ilvl) but I see other druids with similar or less gear do way higher HPS than me on the logs. I think I should be doing more than 900/1k hps, but rarely go above 700 in many fights.
Here are a couple of logs of Antorus hc:
      https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/cHZLXF1t8J7YMwBT
      https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/zGB27L8KYp4HXJZQ
I searched the logs and I think one of my main problems for the lack of healing is the rejuvenations. Other druids do far more healing with same or less rejuvs, since my average casts is around 450k (and other druids go up to 750 or even 1000).
I don't know if it's a problem with timing or overhealing (other healers snipping me), but I want to know other opinions.
Thanks a lot for your help.

      Hello!
I think I am doing something seriously wrong with my resto druid. I have pretty decent gear but I see other druids with similar or less gear do way higher HPS then me on my recount meter. I've run simulations that said i should be getting 900hps but that's rather rare to see. During M+ runs when we're taking high damage i've seen 1-1.2mil hps - but in Antorus I feel like I'm stuck at 400-600hps

Recently I've gone up 20 item levels and gotten 3 T21 pieces but haven't seen my hps improve much. I've switched from spring blossoms to double rejuv in hopes that i could hit higher hps but today in Heroic Antorus i was still the lowest healer (sorry no logs from that)

Here are some logs from a guide I've been doing normal with:

      https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/fAaV8v4YPbk6W1tD#fight=4&type=summary&source=15

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

      Hi
So, lately I have been looking around the web for someone to explain how I can insert an icon/bar that displays the "buff" Feral Spirit. I am mainly using the Tell Me When addon, but I had to go  through Weak Auras this time to get it right. I also want to mention that I would not have been able to get it right had I not imported the Weak Auras string from Wordup (author of the enhancement shaman guide). The reason for this being so complicated is because contrary to what you might think, Feral Spirit does not work as a buff. Therefore you will have to manually work around this problem to get it to work. I have added some pictures that will hopefully make the process easier.
PS. I am in no way an expert on either Tell Me When or Weak Auras, so be gentle...
      1) Tell Me When:

This is the general layout. If you dont want an icon, but a bar. You can go into the "group" tab (bottom right of tell me when) and select bar (on the very top)

This is how the layout inside Tell Me When should look after completion. Feral Spirit is no longer a "buff", so you will have to make a Combat Event where you manually enter the amount of seconds the combat event (Feral Spirit) should be active, in this case 15 seconds

This is important: Events to check --> Casts --> Spell Cast Success
After all that you should be ready to go!

      2) Weak Auras:

Feral Spirit is no longer a "buff", so you will have to make a Combat Log where you manually enter the amount of seconds the combat event (Feral Spirit) should be active, in this case 15 seconds

      Just scrolling down

All the way at the bottom you have to enter the Spell Name and the amount of seconds that the Combat Event (Feral Spirit) should be active.
Now you should be all ready to go!
