Rosegoddess 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2018 Thanks for the quick replies Furty, I think a couple Azorite traits are missing from that section, for example I can't find Rezan's Fury
Guest Piemaster Report post Posted August 30, 2018 Is it just me or do Destro Locks feel a bit under powered currently, granted I've only got up to 312 ilvl but still I feel like my basic damage is real low and if I'm not spamming infernal and Chaos bolts on even trash mobs its taking way too long to down things. I almost always top single target damage during a boss fight while bursting. I've linked my character so you can see my talents, feel free to ask anything. But I can see the frustration when Affliction has been better for almost 2 years now. But those Chaos crits keep me coming back for more haha https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/anachronos/Rosegoddess (350 Destruction Warlock) Edited September 1, 2018 by Rosegoddess Changing ilvl, and adding comment on Destruction right now. Guest Piemaster Report post Posted September 4, 2018 I think my Biggest problem at the moment is that all the gear the raises my ilvl makes me drop haste, like my haste is down to 9% and I just hit 330, whats the deal with that, drop rates have been abismal, getting about 1 piece of gear for every 6 heroics I run, and nothing yet out of the 4 mythics I have run/been carried through. I have bsically the same tallent set up as Rosegoddess, I have Demon fire up right now but I switch back and forth a lot on that. I have been trying to get geared up for raiding but due to really bad RNG I've fallen way behind, and it seems like everyone else has been getting fairly regular drop rates, but today was the first day I got 2 drops in 1 run, and they were both below what i got for rep or WQ. Arthilany 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2018 Just curios as to what point I should stop stacking so much haste? sitting at 20% haste, which is awesome, but also only have 17% crit and 29% mastery... Which seems really low, considering that crit increases my chaos bolt by percentage, and Mastery increases my overall output... thoughts?
Guest trisra Report post Posted September 14, 2018 why does tol dagor have the best in slot chest piece for a destro lock when the azerite powers aren't even the best powers you can get?
LeGoret 6 Report post Posted September 14, 2018 (edited) hello there! Has any one tried to delay Dark Soul when combine to Summon Infernal (and Grimmoire of Supremacy is talented) ? The idea is, as long as you don't loose a cast of Dark Soul during the fight, you could cast DS after 10 sec of Summon infernal. As the SI last 30s and DS 20s, both cd's will end @ the same time. Like that, you will empower with DS the CB 's wich are the most empowered by GoS. Edited September 14, 2018 by LeGoret

Guest Guest Report post Posted February 14, 2019 Hello all, just wondering if the Azerit Armor section will also be updated because of the new azerit traits introduced with the new raid. The "rings" listened in that sections are not up-to-date. Thanks, love your site.
Guest Deathlicious Report post Posted February 18, 2019 Is there a way we can get a Mastery/Haste/Crit cap or break down? For instance, with Elemental Shams, 1000 over all is 400/300/200/100, for secondary stats, I'm currently at a 16k dps barrier and having trouble figuring out if its my stats or gear or even both. A break down would really be helpful.

A break down would really be helpful. There is a website called Bloodmallet which shows you the ideal stat distribution in percentages. It's also best to sim yourself in raidbots to determine your personal stat weights. It's important to note though that secondaries aren't too important as long as you don't go completely for your worst stat. If you focus on mastery and haste and keep those as your highest stats you will be fine. The difference between the ideal ratio and an okay ratio is about 1% DPS. Even focusing completely on your worst stat (which is almost impossible with how secondary distribution on gear works) will "only" result in a 4% DPS loss. checkmate 4 Report post Posted May 24, 2019 Hello, thanks for this guide. I want to give destro a try with my warlock and I have a question about the trait flashover. When i look at warcraftlogs, all the top guys to stack this trait up to 3. Why is this trait so strong? I don`t get it at all. With current gear bosses and m+ mops are so quick below 80% life, that this trait looks completely wasted to me. What is the reasoning for it being so strong? Greetings Checkmate
Motoko 9 Report post Posted May 25, 2019 In a single target scenario Flashover is already a competitive trait because it offers a high amount of haste during the opener when you can unload all your cooldowns (infernal+trinket+dark soul), but the buff uptime in that situation is generally around 20%. When you take fights with continuous adds spawning however, you can increase the uptime on that buff noticeably, making that trait incredibly strong. Immolate only needs to tick once on a target above 80% health to give you 10s haste buff. Think about a fight like Blockade mythic in p2 when you will have sirens and elementals spawning the whole phase, that situation allows you to maintain around 60-70% uptime on a massive haste buff
LeGoret 6 Report post Posted July 1, 2019 (edited) Now we can have Summon Infernal with a 2.4 min CD, is it worth to delay Dark Soul: Instability by 24 sec to align with it? I assume it still depends on the duration of the fight and if we can get one more DS. Edited July 1, 2019 by LeGoret

As a general rule, it is worth to delay both dark soul and eventual 2minutes on use items in order to sync them with infernal. Specific fights may require different approach tho
Rottenfish 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2019 Hiya, I was thinking about the gem slot options, from the wording in the guide " If Intellect is simming highest, you should socket your gear with one Leviathan's Eye of Intellect. " As the Leviathan's Eye of Intellect is usable when you are also using a Kracken's Eye of Intellect. It might be good to say; If Intellect is simming highest, you should socket your gear with one Leviathan's Eye of Intellect and if you have a second socket, use a Kraken's Eye of Intellect. Motoko 9 Report post Posted July 5, 2019 well it mostly depends to your individual character stats scaling but "generally" for warlocks only the 120 int gem is worth over a 50 secondary. Early in the expansion when we had access to 80 int and 45 (now 40) secondary gems you were almost never socketing a primary stat gem, but with the recent nerf to the secondary gem, the epic int ones became much more appealing.
Guest Tator Report post Posted July 14, 2019 Hi all, I was wondering if someone could explain Havoc a little more. Some guides say to use it in single target, and this guide which I believe more heavily in doesn't add it into the single target rotation. I was just wondering why that is. I'm switching over from affliction so it's all new to me! Thanks in advance.
