Macro Problems

Recommended Posts

I've encountered a problem when trying to set up a healing macro for Holy Word: Serenity.

This is what I have:

#showtooltip

/target mouseover

/cast Holy Word: Serenity

It doesn't cast when I mouse over the player, but will cast on myself instead, even when I have no target.  All the others I've made the same way have worked without a problem.  Does anyone have a solution for this?

Try

/cast [@mouseover] Holy Word: Serenity

So I moved it to a different key binding and it works fine.  The strange thing is that the key binding works without a problem for other spells and that particular spell will self cast if I don't mouse over anyone.

Try to disable auto spell cast (Esc > Interface > Combat) and let me know if the problem persists ?.
