Yes, because the guys that developed this update for months were actually the same guys that work on the login servers, I can't believe they would do that.

maybe less stupid app development and more login server work would be prudent.

TY Blizz for updating the app beyond what my Galaxy Note 2 can handle. I can no longer use it, sad because I used to use it everyday. Updated again this morning, now I get the Blizz screen and some thing in very dark blue tones. Then crash nothing rinse / repeat.

Thanks again Blizz.

They removed the Legion stuff ? I wanted to continue reap rewards from the Order Hall Missions.

My thoughts as well... Is there a possibility to keep the Legion one as well? While I highly doubt that, it would be cool, since I have like a ton of alts still hanging around in legion.

Here come the week's first hotfixes for 9.1 and BCC. We have changes to the Arena points formula in Classic, some PvP and PvE tuning for 3 classes in retail, in addition to the Necrotic Wake weapons getting tweaked and more.
      July 26 (Source)
      Classes
Mage Fire [With weekly maintenance in each region] Ring of Fire (PvP Talent) will reapply its damage over time effect less frequently while standing within the ring. Developers’ note: In situations where players were stunned or rooted inside the ring, the damage dealt by Ring of Fire was higher than intended. There will now be a cooldown before the fire reapplies its damage over time. Priest Shadow [With weekly maintenance in each region] Void Volley (PvP Talent) damage reduced by ~15%. Warrior [With weekly maintenance in each region] Intervene's duration reduced to 3 seconds while engaged in combat with enemy players (was 6 seconds). Developers’ note: Warriors group defensive toolkit is currently outshining other specs, by reducing Intervene's duration, we hope to open more windows of opportunities for enemy teams to capitalize on. Dungeons and Raids
The Necrotic Wake Forgotten Forgehammer, Bloody Javelin, and Discharged Anima deal 50% more damage but no longer scale with player damage modifier effects and can no longer critically strike. Developers’ note: We recently discovered a bug that was causing some dungeon spells to inflict incorrect damage, and fixing this bug had a very noticeable impact on the pickups found in The Necrotic Wake. Upon closer review of these items, we've decided to make their impact more consistent while increasing their baseline power to compensate. Anima Exhaust damage and healing increased by 50%. Items and Rewards
[With weekly maintenance in each region] Unchained Gladiator's Shackles of Malediction's channeled Shadow damage is now Magic dispellable (was Curse). Developers’ notes: We’ve made this change to open up more counterplay options for all of our healer specs by changing the dispel type to Magic. Burning Crusade Classic
Player versus Player [With weekly maintenance in each region] The formula for Arena Points has been adjusted to increase Arena Points awarded each week. This will equate to approximately 100 additional points per week for most 5v5 teams, about 88 additional points for most 3v3 teams, and about 76 more points for 2v2 teams. Teams near 1500 rating will get more, and the curve still tapers to the same maximum as before. Developers' notes: In original Burning Crusade in 2007, players could expect to receive 450-500 Arena Points per week by playing at least 10 matches and winning more than 50% of the time. At that time, a team who lost most of their games could expect to get about 300 points per week. Starting from a team rating of 0 has created a points-per-win curve that has been significantly below that, so we're raising the point floor to compensate for the additional time needed to raise your rating. With this change, all 5v5 teams over 100 rating should get at least 300 points per week.

We're back for week two of Sanctum Mythic, with many more guilds having downed a LOT more bosses (but still very few in the second part of the raid - only 60ish guilds actually got past Painsmith so far) and so we're going to take a look at both Mythic and Heroic again this week, still focusing primarily on Heroic.
Important Note: In terms of Mythic stats, while they're not yet representative of the entire Sanctum of Domination raid, they do show some solid stats for bosses 1-5, which is where basically the entire playerbase is anyway in that difficulty. The early bosses are still dominating/"tainting" the numbers in Mythic though, so take that into consideration as well.

      Heroic Rankings
We're starting with 95th percentile Heroic once more, as it's still the more accurate of the two difficulties for log stats. Things changed a lot here since last week as well, as the Moonkings are back on their throne after a long time sitting there in Nathria. But last week's other top specs are still here, as Arms and Arcane fill out the top 3 once more, and the biggest mover in the top is Feral, which jumps 7 spots to complete the top 5, right behind Subtlety which also hopped up a spot or two. Havoc and Assassination are also on the rise, while Elemental has fallen the most since last week and Fire remains in dead last. Windwalkers actually fall quite a bit here, in stark contrast to the Mythic rankings, while the second half of the chart hosts the same specs as last week.

95th percentile Heroic data by Warcraft Logs.
The ever slower-moving all percentiles bracket has a swap in Rogues at the top, as Subtlety takes the crown, but the top 3 stays the same. However, Feral is coming up fast here as well, basically swapping places with Demonology, showing it is a very popular and effective pick among many players. Elemental is losing popularity here, same as in the top percentiles, while Outlaw is slowly digging its way out of the bottom.

All percentiles Heroic data by Warcraft Logs.
      Mythic Rankings
Affliction is still extremely strong on Mythic, mostly due to the earlier bosses very much favoring the spec, with Windwalkers coming pretty much out of nowhere as more bosses enter the mix, and the spec takes the lead. Arms reprises its Heroic role as a top spec here as well, so we know that's a very real stat, while Retribution and Fire also jump almost half the rankings to get into the top 10.

95th percentile Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
If the Mythic all percentiles chart is looking visually weird to you, you can thank those few Windwalkers that destroyed the top-end parses, as they're waay out ahead here, but even that crazy performance wasn't enough to clinch the No.1 spot. The rest of the rankings are just a big jumble, with Fire and Frost Dks very high, Shadow and Elemental at the bottom and more weirdness.

All percentiles Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.

As always, if you want even more info on a spec, you can check out our class guides here, or for even more data, head on over to Warcraft Logs.

We have a really cool one to check out today, as two of not only the best players in the world talk about pretty much everything that happened during the Sanctum Race to World first!
We have now World Champion Rogerbrown, Echo Co-CEO and Complexity-Limit GM and Raid Leader Max having a very candid and friendly talk about: the Shards of Domination and how they impacted the race; going through the raid and race, boss-by-boss, composition-by-composition; talking about most specs (Shadow Priest over-estimation at the start etc.); the way the very best players in the game anywhere can just sit on the bench for an entire raid due to their spec being not optimal; the crazy minute details on the final moments on Sylvanas; the optimal race duration; whether we'll see 1 or 2 more raids; and so, so much more.
It's a long stream VoD, coming in at 5 and a half hours, but if you're at all interested in the race, it's an absolute must-watch!

According to Jeff Hamilton, Senior System Designer on Warcraft, there's almost no work being done on World of Warcraft right now.
Due to the ongoing lawsuit, WoW development seems to have been temporarily impacted, which benefits nobody, not players, not the developers, or shareholders, according to Senior System Designer Jeff Hamilton.
Placeholder for tweet 1419115702569472003 We are not sure at this time if this will delay Patch 9.2 or even 9.1.5, depending on what will be unveiled in the near future (likely at Gamescom).

Here's some Rae'shalare, Death's Whisper, aka the Sylvanas bow-related news, as players have been receiving Heroic upgrade tokens after having it drop with a lower item level prior to the hotfix, as well a look at a very lucky guild.
First things first, the issue that was hotfixed last week, which was causing the bow to drop at the Normal difficulty item level in both Heroic and Mythic, had many players receive a worse bow. According to Wowhead, tickets sent about that issue are now getting positive responses, with players actually receiving upgrade items for the appropriate difficulty they got the bow from! That's a really solid upgrade from 233 on Normal to 246 on Heroic, so if you've had this happen to you, make sure to make a support ticket!
The other statistically interesting piece of news is that a guild actually managed to get three bow from one kill! As reported by otrew 3 out of their 4 Hunters got the bow on a Normal Sylvanas kill (and the 4th one wasn't too happy about it). And the kicker? The third bow wasn't even looted from the chest, but came in the mail later!
