Upcoming Arms Warrior Mastery Changes

Blizzard will buff Arms' Mastery: Deep WoundsMastery: Deep Wounds soon. Check out the details!

The value of Mastery for Arms Warriors is low right now and Blizzard plans to make it more compelling by increasing how much Mastery affects Deep Wounds' damage and decreasing the damage of other non-Deep Wounds abilities.

@Archimtiros provided us with an Arms DPS scaling plot, which depicts how bad Mastery is for the specialization right now. 1 point of Mastery currently increases your DPS by 0.20.

Greetings, Warriors of Azeroth!

We’re working on some significant tuning for Mastery: Deep WoundsMastery: Deep Wounds. As has been pointed out here on the forums and elsewhere, the value of Mastery is particularly low for Arms. Although we are still working out the exact numbers, you can expect the following changes, intended to make Mastery a competitive combat rating:

  • A large increase to how much Mastery affects Deep Wounds’ damage.
  • A decrease to the damage of Arms’ other (non-Deep Wounds) abilities.
  • Increasing the effectiveness of Mastery necessitates that we offset it with reductions to other abilities, to keep Arms’ total damage about the same – this change is aimed at making sure Mastery is useful, not to be an overall buff to the spec.

With an average amount of Mastery, Deep Wounds is going to be much stronger after these changes. Note that the impact of these changes will differ slightly per-character, based on how much Mastery rating they have.

We will, of course, keep an eye on Arms’ performance and continue to make adjustments as necessary. With the first raid of Battle for Azeroth opening on September 4, we expect to make further pre-raid adjustments to this and other specs as usual over the next three weeks.

Thanks for your ongoing passion and feedback. See you on the battlefield!

Does Arms need it? I genuinely don't know. I haven't played in a long while and just go back, so last I knew Arms was in a rather good spot as a whole in DPS, and much better than Fury.

ye arms needs a buff. it does too little dmg where other classes just totally overrun it. hoping to see what blizzards decision will be

What happened to Arms? I stopped playing around when the first Raid came out in Legion, and it was great then wasn't it?

They changed the colossal Smash to be a 45 sec cd ability and replacing it in the normal Rotation with another ability. Ur Smash is now rather a low cd with the aim to create burst windows

mastery scaling for arms obviously needs a buff to make it less of a "dead" stat.

arms is in a really good spot right now for mythics & looking forward for mythic +, if you happen to have a good weapon/trinkets.

however crafted items easily get ruined if they get mastery on it, which is really punishing if you spend 2weeks worth of hydrocores on it.

If you plan on buying the physical War Within Collector's Edition and live in Europe, you're going to have a bad time!
Blizzard has ceased distributing WoW Collector's Editions through retailers with the release of Dragonflight, making the Blizzard Store the only place to buy them. However, the shipping costs could be a dealbreaker for many collectors eager to acquire the latest edition for the upcoming expansion.
Reddit user katamai from Serbia posted a screenshot of their order, revealing that the shipping fees exceed the cost of the box itself—280 Euros for shipping compared to 200 Euros for the box, totaling 480 Euros.

Additionally, Emi, a follower on our Facebook page, reported a shipping cost of 99 Euros to Romania, nearly ten times what it costs to ship to the UK.

A practical workaround might be to order the Collector's Edition to a UK address and then use a shipping service to forward it to your address in Europe, potentially saving a considerable amount of money.
How much does it cost to ship the box to your country?

We've already talked about and taken a first look at the Delve-specific mount coming in the War Within, but now it's time to check out all of its customization options!
LeystTV has delved into the mount and shown off all the options, from the different colors to nose, wing, thruster, and top customizations, with glider, blimp, helicopter looks and more! There's even different versions of Horde and Alliance decals to choose from!

And these may not even be all the options present at launch, not to mention new ones Blizzard might add with later patches, making this one of the cooler mounts in the game.
