Do I NEED to use Felguard? (Demo Lock)

Just curious if the DPS loss from choosing another demon is significant while playing a Demonology Warlock. I just hate the look of the Felguard (+Wrathguard). I much prefer the look of the Imp. Thanks!

I'm sorry but yes. Felguard is way better than imp. You cant ignore that felstorm base skill AND the felstorm from tier 1 talent.

You have wild imps anyway! :D

It's significant while cleaving/AoE.

At the moment lock pets are bugged and the power levels so messed up so assuming you don't spec into any Felguard traits then the Imp would actually be better single target damage.

This should be getting fixed next month though.
