Monk Stagger vs Disc Priest Power Word Shield

Hey There!

I would like to ask another question:
How does Stagger works with disc priest power word shield?

The power word shield tick before everything?

Or the Stagger tick first (stagger the x% of the damage) and the unstaggered damage will be shielded by the power word shield?

 

Are a tank Monk and a disc Priest a good comp for mythic + ?

You will continue to stagger damage even with an absorb shield on you, and the stagger DoT will be absorbable too. There should be no issues when playing with a disci priest.
