Quick question about trinket usage

I just got a new on-use trinket (My'das Talisman) from the weekly chest today and maybe my detective skills are lacking, but I couldn't find info on how to best use this on-use trinket as survival hunter. It sims well but I didn't know if the sim uses the trinket on CD or always lined up with Coordinated Assault (trinket CD is 1.5 min).

This is a really good question in general: how can i know if on-use trinkets should be used on CD or paired with other specific spells? Will you hold back a trinket or a spell to line them up?

I googled a bit to finde an answer how raidbots is handling on-use trinkets. Didn't find a proper answer yet.
