HCT Winter Championship: Worth Watching ?

I'm assuming they are all legend level, and a lot of cards played will be ones I don't know.

but it might be interesting to watch, for the newbie that I am

Not really. You might learn a thing of two if you can either withstand the casters' unabating stream of nonsense or mute them to focus on the game. But you'd be better off with watching a streamer that occasionaly explains what the (censored) they're doing play the deck you want to learn about rather than a tournament.

Depends on what you really want to see. I follow Kripparrian, Thijs and Disguised Toast, I learned a lot about arena from Kripp but he's definitely not the only streamer you can learn from.  My best advice is to type "Hearthstone NameOfDeck" in Google, watcha a Legend-rank player have a spin with it, determine what you would do in their stead and think through why they ended up doing something else than you would on those turns they do.
